(Back with Catnap and Bubba)

Catnap

I looked at Bubba, shocked at his answer. "You're also gay! And your crush is KickinChicken!?" I said. Bubba nodded, "Yeah, for about a year and half," Bubba responded. "Why haven't you asked him out?" I asked. He shuffles uncomfortably, "I'm afraid of what's to come...after I confess. There could be so many reasons and events that'll cause me and Kickin to stay away from each other," Bubba answered.

"So you're afraid and you believe if I confess to Dogday and he accepts my feelings, then you'll be confident to ask him out as well," I said. He nodded again. I inhaled and exhaled as I got close to Bubba, putting my purple paw on his shoulders, "Looks like I'll be your therapist this time," I said. I pushed him lightly back to his couch and sat him down and I did the same.

"Tell me Bubba, have you and Kickin hung out a lot?" I asked Bubba. He shook his head, "No, he's always with Hoppy but he comes to me whenever he injures himself," Bubba answered. I gave him a disappointed stare, "I don't know how to tell you this Bubba but you need some kind of miracle for Kickin to realize his feelings for you," I said. He gave me a shocked look with his eyes wide open as he looked like he was about to cry.

"So...Kickin will never like me back?" Bubba cried. "I never said that," I said. Bubba looks back at me, "Huh...?" He mumbled. "You need to hang out with him more often even if it's only a small amount of time. I like Dogday because I hang out with him a lot. You just need to do the same but take one step at a time," I said. Bubba sniffs his trunk as he wipes his eyes from tears, "Thanks Catnap, I appreciate your advice," Bubba thanked. "Don't worry about it Bubba. But one last piece of advice. Only you will know the right time to hang out when he needs it the most," I said.

I got up from his couch and headed to the front door, turning the doorknob and opening it until I looked back at Bubba. "Hey Bubba," I called out. He flips his head towards me, "Yeah?" I smiled at him, "Good luck," I said. He smiles back, "Thanks and good luck as well Catnap," Bubba responded back. I left his house, closing the door behind me.

I walk down the pathway, heading to my house as sudden thoughts surround my head. "This place is full of surprises. I found out that I was gay for Dogday, Bubba is gay for Kickin. What else, Picky and Crafty are dating?" I questioned myself.

Other than these thoughts, I worry for Bubba if Kickin would actually like him back. But I know better to let time tell. I arrived at my home, opened it and layed down on my couch. I grabbed my book from the counter, flipped through the pages and started reading.

It hasn't been five minutes and I already got bored. I closed my book, got out of the couch and left through the front door. I look around the street only to see Dogday's house in front of me with a forest behind it. I went around my home and saw that there was also a forest behind it. I got curious and went inside the forest to explore what's inside.

I went deep inside the forest appreciating the nature walk until I stumbled upon a beautiful view of a valley. I could see a whole entire forest as I walked closer to the edge of the cliff. The view was so breathtaking that I couldn't look away. I sat down and saw the whole entire view until a thought came to me. "Maybe I should invite Dogday to this place during sundown. He'll love the view," I thought.

"Maybe this is the place I should confess my feelings to him. I'll plan a whole picnic and at night I should say it," I thought. I look around even more seeing how precious this place looks. "I'm glad I died. Without that, I would be suffering in that horrid place and be missing this. It's what I dreamed of," I thought.

I got up and left the place, heading to my house. Once I arrive, I look around my home to see if there is a picnic basket around to use. After minutes of searching I finally found it. I left my home once again with a picnic basket in my hand and went to Dogday's home. I knocked on his door waiting for him to answer. The door opened and there stood who I call my angel. "Hey Dogday, are you free?" I asked.

"Yeah I am, what do you need?" Dogday asked. Perfect looks like everything will go smoothly. "Well...". I took a small pause to show him the picnic basket I was holding behind me. "I was wondering if you would like to join me for a picnic at a mountain top I found," I said. His face turned a bit red. I was basically asking him to go on a date with me.

"Sure, are the others coming with us?" Dogday asked. "Heh, you adorable puppy. Why would I bring the others for this special place just for the two of us," I thought. "Nope, just us. To catch up with each other to make up for the lost time," I lied. Obviously I believe that we have caught up more than enough. I am ready to take it to the next step. "Are we going now?" Dogday asked. I shook my head, "Nope, we are going later in the evening so we can have a beautiful sunset scene together."

I can see he was blushing even more which made it even more cute. "Okay then, I'll see you later Catnap?" Dogday said. He looked nervous after saying that last part which made it even more adorable. "Bye Dogday, I'll see you tonight," I said. I went inside my home and went into the kitchen.

I grabbed everything I could use for this picnic. Bread, cheese, juices, water, you name it. I want this moment to be very special for me and Dogday. I spent the last hour making everything that would be required for a picnic. It was around five in the afternoon so there should be no rush. I went upstairs to my bedroom, trying to find a nice blanket that would be useful on the ground. Thankfully there was a purple and orange blanket just dangling around in my closet. "Weird. I feel like this universe is trying so hard for us to be together. As if we're meant to be together," I thought.

I shook that last thought of my head and head downstairs. I placed the blanket next to the picnic basket. I layed on the couch for one and a half hours while reading my book. It was around six-thirty and I knew it was time if we wanted to get a good view. I got the basket and blanket and headed to Dogday's home. I knocked on his door as I waited for him. His door opened revealing himself.

"Hey Dogday, you ready?" I asked.
