Dogday:

"A sleepover!?" Crazy suggestion from him, "Yeah, like in the show back in the other world except I don't make you guys go to sleep with...". He pauses for a moment and steps back, away from me. I tried to get close to me but he stopped me, gesturing that I stay away and I followed his direction. He inhaled then exhaled and there it was. His red gas that causes others to sleep. His facial expression was filled with paranoia. "Why do I still have this...". He looked like he was about to cry but I immediately gave him another hug despite the red gas. Luckily it wasn't that strong and it only drained me a bit.

"Dogday, I don't want this inside me," he whimpered. "I know Catnap, I know. But we have to live through this and I'll be with you every step on the way. That I can promise," I placed my paws on his shoulders giving him motivation he needs. He smiled and that's what I'm after, "You're right Dogday. I'll be able to overcome this and use it only when necessary." I let go of Catnap's shoulders, "Good now (yawns) I need to go to bed because your gas is pretty strong." Catnap laughed, "Okay, I'll see you later Dogday." Catnap said as I departed from his home but I stopped before I could reach the doorknob. "Hey Catnap?" Catnap looks at me, "Yeah?" "Let's have a sleepover tomorrow since I'm pretty tired and you just died not long ago so we both need our rest for the day," I advised.

"Sure, that'll be fine. I'm pretty tired anyways," Catnap agreed. I reached the doorknob with my right paw but I then felt something grab my left paw. I looked but knowing it was Catnap who was holding my paw. I had a feeling that he wanted to say something. "Yeah Catnap?" He looks at me, "Thank you for giving me another chance. Even though I don't deserve it." He mumbles that last part thinking I couldn't hear him but I did anyway. I turned around looking at him and holding his fluffy face with my paws, "You may not deserve it or practically don't deserve it but I believe that you do deserves it and I hope the others are in agreement with me," I closed my eyes after saying that giving him the brightest smile I've done.

"Heh, has anyone ever told you that your smile shines like the sun Dogday?" Catnap chuckled as I open my eyes feeling a bit red but nothing much. "No, but thanks for the compliment Catnap." I let go of his face and headed my way but Catnap said one last thing, "Dogday?" I look back at him once again, "Yeah Catnap?" Catnap shuffled uncomfortably, "Are we friends right now or best friends still?" I question he asked as he begged for an answer. "We're best friends Catnap." He looks at me with wide eyes. "And nothing changes between the both of us." (<—this is a lie😡). I once walked away to my house hearing Catnap's door closed locked and shut as I entered my humble abode. Heading upstairs to my bedroom feeling comfortable for my long awaited and peaceful sleep that I have so longed waited. Shutting my eyes and thinking of nothing and doze of into my dream world.

Catnap:

I shut my door as I see Dogday heading into his home knowing that he is safe even though it's late at night. He says that we are best friends but to me...I felt like I betrayed that boundary into...something I should've done. I head upstairs to my bed, taking off my moon pendant as it glows beautifully in the dark. There is a drawer next to my bed. I opened the top, revealing a notebook or journal to be precise but didn't pay much of it. I opened the second drawer and there was nothing in it. The journal was the only one that was inside my drawer.

I then looked out of my window and all I saw were trees and a beautiful night sky, stars floating in the air giving it a good view. "There is no way he would have done it. This is what I wanted and he failed to do so. I blindly followed his footsteps, doing everything he told me to do. And for what. It was all for nothing," I thought as the wind blew the trees outside my window. "I should've listened to Dogday, instead I sold my soul for a broken promise." I went back to my own bed and then looked at my drawer. I don't know why but something was making me want to grab the journal and use it but I didn't know what until an idea popped up into my head. "Maybe I could write my thoughts inside this journal as my personal diary whenever I need to let out what is holding on my chest."
