As the day of the party approached, Lilly and I found ourselves growing more and more excited. We had spent the past few days helping Tunde with the preparations, and we couldn't wait to see everything come together.

On the night of the party, Tunde's house was transformed. The lights were dimmed, and the sound of music and laughter filled the air. Lilly and I were dressed to impress, and we felt like we were ready to take on the world.

I wore a stunning black dress that hugged my curves in all the right places. The dress was made of a luxurious silk material that shimmered in the light, and it featured a subtle pattern of silver threads that added a touch of sophistication.

The dress was sleeveless and it had a daringly high slit that revealed a glimpse of my legs. My hair was styled in loose, flowing waves, and I had opted for a bold red lip color that added a pop of color to my overall look. My eyes sparkled with confidence, and I exuded a sense of poise and elegance as I mingled with the guests.

Lilly, on the other hand, had chosen a vibrant yellow dress that perfectly complemented her bright and bubbly personality. The dress was made of a lightweight fabric that draped elegantly across her body, and it featured a delicate floral pattern that added a touch of whimsy.

The dress had a high neckline and long sleeves, which suited Lilly's more modest style, and it fell in soft folds to her knees. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, and she had opted for a natural makeup look that accentuated her bright smile and sparkling eyes. She looked radiant and confident, and her infectious enthusiasm drew people to her like a magnet.

As we mingled with the guests, we were introduced to some of the most influential people in the construction industry. There was Mr. Johnson, the CEO of a major construction company, and Mrs. Smith, a renowned architect. Lilly and I were impressed by the caliber of the guests, and we knew that this party was exactly what we needed to get our foot in the door.

As the night wore on, Lilly and I found ourselves surrounded by a group of people who were all eager to talk to us. We were asked about our plans for New Horizon Builders, and we were offered advice and support from people who had been in the industry for years.

We felt like we were on top of the world. We knew that we had made some valuable connections, and we were excited to see where our new relationships would take us.

"Thank you so much for tonight, Tunde," I said, "This was exactly what we needed to get started."

Tunde smiled, his eyes twinkling with pride. "I'm just glad I could help, ladies. Remember, in Lagos, it's all about who you know. And now, you know the right people."

Though exhausted, Lilly and I were buzzing with excitement as the party finally came to an end. We couldn't stop talking about the connections we had made and the opportunities that lay ahead.

"We did it, Lilly! We actually did it!" I exclaimed, my eyes shining with excitement.

Lilly grinned, her face still flushed from the excitement of the night. "We sure did, Sarah! Thanks Tunde. You've been an absolute lifesaver."

Tunde turned to them with a smile. "I'm so proud of you both. You worked that room like pros. I know you're going to do great."

"We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much." I said giving him a warm and genuine smile.

Tunde smiled and handed me a small gift box. "A little something to celebrate your new beginnings," he said with a wink. Inside the box was a beautiful silver necklace with a small crystal pendant. I was really amazed at his generosity.

Lilly received a different gift - a sleek and stylish leather planner. "To help you stay organized and focused on your goals," Tunde said with a smile.

We were thrilled with our gifts and thanked Tunde again for his thoughtfulness. As we went to bed that night, we felt grateful and excited for the future.
