***Kiran's POV:***

I woke up, went for a jog at the crack of dawn because apparently, that's what normal people do when they're about to embark on a life-altering trip to a mystical kingdom. As I sipped water near a serene lake, I couldn't help but admire the beauty around me. The palace, standing majestically against the dim morning light, the gentle ripples of the lake, and the mysterious forest looming behind me-it was all picture-perfect.

But alas, my moment of tranquility was abruptly interrupted by the realization that I had to return to the palace and face the plastic faces of my fellow companions. With a heavy sigh, I dragged myself back, my mind already protesting the impending interactions.

And what do you know? Just as I entered the palace, I collided with someone. Not just anyone, mind you, but a girl who seemed to be on a mission to infiltrate my room. Surprise, surprise. I cleared my throat, eyeing her up and down, taking in her plastic getup and wondering what kind of drama was about to unfold.

She glared up at me, all fire and fury, despite her diminutive stature of 5'4". It was almost comical, considering I towered over her at 5'11". As she attempted to grab my collar, I simply leaned down to hear what melodramatic nonsense she had to spew.

"If you even dare to look at Pragyan, mind it, I will have you ruined, new girl," she threatened, her voice dripping with venom. Internally, I couldn't help but snigger at her audacity, though outwardly, I maintained my stoic demeanor.

"And who might you be, Pragyan's girlfriend?" I retorted dryly, raising an eyebrow. She smirked arrogantly, revealing her identity with a flourish, "Ishana. Ishana Patel."

I nodded, unimpressed, and attempted to enter my room, but she wasn't finished yet. "And stay away from the rest as well," she warned, her tone dripping with superiority. I shrugged

nonchalantly, "Never felt inclined to be with them or your... what's his name again? Oh right, Pragyan. So chill, no need to worry."

With that, I casually brushed her off and stepped into my room, closing the door firmly behind me. Time for my usual routine-shower, gear up, tackle some homework.

But before diving into the day's tasks, I decided to give my dear brother, Rudra, a call. His response? Eye-roll and a dismissal, typical. Ah, the warmth and affection of sibling bonds. Note the sarcasm, of course.

As I made my way down to breakfast, I spotted the usual suspects-the sleepy plastics, lazily shoveling food into their mouths. I made a mental note to steer clear of their drama and settled into a secluded corner, a good eight chairs away from anyone else. The moment I sat down, I could feel their stares boring into me, accompanied by the classic dramatic plate drops and whispered gossip.

But you know what? My phone and sandwich made for much better companions than their petty drama. So I tuned out the noise, focused on my own business, and let them carry on with their little spectacle.
