One month later

After around 5 days, the students got used to the fact that some people's eye colours had became green. Kumiko removed her contacts on the day after the incident and recieved stares as the others had, but she ignored them, sometimes Reina glaring daggers at them. But the green eyes were just the start. There was more to come then just changing eye colours , and they would realise that a point in the future.

Tokiya yawned as he waited for his hyperactive friend. He looked down at his watch and growled, Ittoki was late. "Ichinose-san?" Tokiya turned and saw a black haired girl, Kousaka Reina, as he recalled. The 10 of them had gotten pretty close since the last week. "Tokiya is fine." Reina nodded and looked over, tilting her head. "What are you doing here?" Tokiya sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'm waiting for Ittoki" Reina smiled, "You guys are close aren't you?" Tokiya looked away and stared at the door to Ittoki's house. 'Where was he?' Tokiya looked back at Reina." And you?" "I have to go by here to get to Kumiko's house."

"Tokiya! Reina! Good morning!" Ittoki grinned, and Tokiya sighed. Ittoki was like a sun himself, all bright and sunny. Reina smiled, waving and nodded at Tokiya, before walking off go Kumiko's house. Ittoki tilted his head cutely and asked, "Where's Reina going? Tokiya shrugged and they walked off to pick Eli up. She was waiting for them, leaning against the gate. She spotted them, shutting her book before placing it in her book. She smiled, walking towards them. Ittoki grinned and asked, "Whatcha reading?" "Shingeki no Kyojin manga." Tokiya looked over at the blonde. "I didn't know you read such books" Eli grinned, "Well know you do!" She skipped off with Ittoki, Tokiya trailing behind.

Mika sighed as he walked over to Yuu's bed. Yuu was sleeping soundly, hugging a pillow to his chest. Yuu looked angelic and cute, but Mika had to wake him up or he would be late for school. "Mika! Is Yuu up yet?!" Akane shouted from downstairs. Akane was Yuu's sister, Mika adopted. Mika sighed and shook Yuu's shoulder. "Mmmm... 5 more minutes..." Yuu turned over, his back facing Mika. Mika sighed, muttering under his breath, " Fine plan B."

He reached out his arms to Yuu's sleeping form, slipping them under his arms. He moved his fingers around, tickling Yuu. Yuu shot out of bed, laughing like a maniac. Tears formed in his eyes as Mika continued tickling him, smiling madly. Akane sighed as she heard the commotion from Yuu's room, going back to the kitchen to prepare the boys lunches. Mika finally stopped the tickle attack and smiled down at Yuu, laughing on the floor. He pulled Yuu up and pushed him into the cupboard, which door was mysteriously open. "Go change! We're gonna be late!" Mika laughed and walked out if the room.

Yuu sighed and took of his pajamas, pulling on his school shirt. Mika walked to his room, hands behind his head, as he humed a song. (I don't know, maybe XU) He stuffed some papers into his bag and picked it up, slinging it over his shoulder. He then waltzed downstairs, where Akane was eating breakfast. Breakfast, as usual, was prepared by Akane, and it consisted of some buttered toast, scrambled eggs and a glass of orange juice. Mika set his bag down on the sofa, before sitting in his chair, grinning at his breakfast.

"Thank you for the food!" Akane stared at Mika as he ate his breakfast hungrily, noticing something. 'Probably just my imagination' she got up, brushing her hair out of her face, as she put her plate and cup in the sink. She noticed Yuu hadn't come down yet, and went up. "YUICHIRO!" Yuu flinched, and hurriedly splashed water on his face, pulling one of his ankle socks up. He tripped over the carpet, crashing onto his bed. "Oompf!" Akane sighed before telling him through the door, " Just hurry up or your breakfast will get cold!" She heard a muffled reply and sighed, walking back downstairs.

"Have a nice day!" Mika waved at Akane as she closed the door behind them, locking it. Yuu saw Isla and Tsukasa waiting for them and smiled, walking over. "Why did you guys take so long?" Mika looked over at Yuu who just shrugged, "You coukd have came in." Isla tilted her head and pulled Tsukasa's sleeve, walking ahead. Yuu looked over at Mika and his eyebrows furrowed. 'Were Mika's eyes getting darker? What? Isla's eyes were also a bit different, a bit bluish, but lighter.' Yuu sighed, putting a hand on his forehead. Mika looked over worridly and whispered, "Are you Ok?" Yuu snapped out of his thoughts and smiled at Mika, nodding.

Mika sighed, he wondered how many times he had heard and sighed since the explosion one month ago. 100? No more. Maybe 200? Yes around there. Mika sighed again and looked at the sky. A clear blue sky, not a cloud to be seen. He tightened his grip on the lunch box Akane had speacially prepared for them, since she had no school that day. Her holidays always started earlier then his and Yuu's. His was starting next week, and Akane was already planning what to do during the 4 weeks of holiday. "-ka Mika!" Mika jumped and saw he was about to walk into a telephone pole. Isla and Tsukasa had mysteriously disappeared,not that Mika minded being alone with Yuu. They were just outside school and Mika sighed, once again.

"A lot on your mind?" Mika looked over at Yuu and nodded slightly. Yuu smiled and stretched, before putting his arms behind his head, his bag sliding around. "Well me too. Wanna go to the roof for some fresh air? There's still an hour till class starts." Mika nodded and followed Yuu through the hallways, then onto the roof. "Hey" Mika looked up from his spot on the bench and saw Yuu frowning down on him. "You're jot usually this quiet. What happened?" Mika looked at his worried green eyes. "Nothing." Yuu stared at him with a confused expression and Mika laughed. He stood and took Yuu's warm hand in his. "Well , let's go! We only have 15 minutes!" Yuu smiled and together, they walked to their classroom.

~After school~
Tokiya had noticed, since he always noticed small things, that Eli's and Ittoki's eye colours were changing. Ittoki's becoming bluish, Eli's becoming darker. Nozomi interrupted his train of thoights by nudging him. He flinched and looked up. Ittoki was poking his cheek and Eli looked at him expectantly. "Uhm I asked if you would want to come over for a study date next week to finish up all our holiday homework." Tokiya nodded, mumbling a, "sure." Eli looked at him worridly but shrugged it off, talking with Ittoki. Nozomi looked over at Tokia, who was once again lost in thoughts, lome he always was.

She fished out her phone and called him, putting her phone to her ear. Tokiya jumped as his phone vibrated in his pocket. He dug ariund and pulled it out, when he saw the caller id, he raised an eyebriw at Nozomi, who just motioned at him to pick up. He sighed internally and pressed the green button, putting the phone at his ear. "Are you ok?" Tokiya stiffened and sighed, "I'm fine just... thinking." "Lika always?" "Shut up." Nozomi grinned and hung up, before waving goodbye to the group, turning a bend. Soon after, Eli went off too, leaving Tokiya and Ittoki alone. Ittoki was smiling as they approached their short friends from the neighbourhood, Shinoa, Syo and his twin Kaoru. Ittoki went up to greet them and beckoned for Tokiya to come faster. Tokiya smiled and walked over, taking his time.

Maybe a bit of fun would be nice.
