The CO2 breathers

Chapter X

(A/N Hey guyzzz so from now on I'm just going to use roman numerals for the title because nowadays I just can't think of good names ok? Thankss)

Dr. Bushiko looked at the teens, bored, as they struggled against the soilders. Nozomi bit the soilder's hand and tried to crawl away. The soilder gritted his teeth and grabbed her arm before she could escape. Isla froze the arm of the soilder holding her, a power which she didn't understand. Mika looked over and saw Yuu unconscious, knocked out by one of the soilder's when he kicked their leg. Mika's hand burst into flames and he stared at it in horror. A wave of nausea washed over him and he curled up into a ball.

Dr. Bushiko smirked as he saw all the teenagers were caught. He pulled out his phone and dialed a familiar number. "Hello?" "Yes, the patients are ready." "Good good you know the procedure, go ahead." Dr. Bushiko put away his phone and knelt down next to Eli. "May I see some of your powers, little girl?" "Don't- don't touch her!" Dr. Bushiko looked over at the purple haired girl and smiled. "Oh? Who are you to order me?" Dr. Bushiko smiled and shrugged. "Oh well, she-" he pointed to Kumiko, "-has already showed what power some of you possess. The others will be held hostage for your cooperation. "

Dr. Bushiko looked out and smiled, " Yes, it appears out transport is here. Now then act natural or we will punsih you." The soilders slowly filed out the door, holding the highschool students like close friends. Once they were all in the van, Dr. Bushiko looked over at the boy next to him, stating, " All yours". The boy smiled and greeted the teens, "Hello! My name is Takahashi Hideki Nice ta meet ya! Now if you try to escape or anything, we will get you back and punish you, so don't do anything silly like that! "

Hideki had sky blue eyes, with reddish-brown hair, two black bobby pins securing some of his hair. He wore a normal junior high school unifrom, a white button up shirt with a red school blazer and long black pants. "Now, do you want to see what happens if you disobey any of us?" Dr. Bushiko looked at Hideki out of the cornor of his eye, looking to see what would happen next. "This" Hideki whipped out a knife at a split second, pointing it at Tsukasa's throat. "Of course, I'm not allowed to kill you; but I am allowed to cut you." Tsukasa stared down at the knife nervously, gulping as he watched the knife move back and forth.

"But," Hideki grinned, retrieving the knife, " that is only if you disobey us, or try to run away, ok?" Tokiya narrowed his eyes slightly, and slowly asked, "Uhm, Hideki?" Said boy turned cheerfully to Tokiya and smiled, "Yes?" "Aren't you still in junior high?" Hideki nodded and answered, "Yup! Why?" "No never mind." Ittoki stared at the ceiling of the van and asked, "How long more?" Dr. Bushiko looked back and answered,  "We can't tell you that's classified information." The van ground to a stop just as he said that and Hideki turned to the teens. "Well then it's time to get off! Remember no running ok?"

Reina put Kumiko's arm over her shoulders. Kumiko, who had passed out earlier, was limp and cold and Reina was really worried. A soilder grabbed Kumiko's other arm and slung it over his shoulder. He grunted and got of the van, Reina speeding up to get used to his speed. They walked with the rest, an awkward silence among them. Only Hideki, who always seemed to be in a  good mood, was happily humming a song as he he skipped in front.

Tsukasa watched Hideki's brown hair flopping around, the feeling of his knife still fresh in his memory. Isla squeezed his hand and asked with her eyes, "Are you alright?" Tsukasa smiled slightly and squeezed Isla's hand back. No matter where they went, the 10 of them would stick toghether. Hideki walked along happily, twisting and turning without hesitation, like he knew the place at the back of his hand, which he probably did. They finally arrived at a hallway that looked just like all the others, just there were 3 doors on either side of the hallway , a wall a few meters from the last door.

Hideki turned towards them and smiled. "This are our rooms, they'll be where you'll live for the next, hmm 2 years? Supposing you live that long." He led each of the pairs to their room, before disappearing in one of the doors. "See you guys tommorow, take the time to get settled."

Tokiya looked over at the red head sleeping peacefully on the bed. Sure the beds were really comfortable and the room was clean and tidy, but they were just kidnapped! How could he sleep so peacefully? Tokiya sighed and closed his eyes. He hadn't realised he was staring at Ittoki. He looked so angelic and innocent... NO! He couldn't think of that now, he had to find a way to get out! He sighed and lay back on his bed and before long, he began to drift off...

Kumiko woke abruptly and sat up quickly. A wave of nausea hit her and she groaned, lying back down. Reina looked over and picked up a glass of water. Reina helped Kumiko sit up slowly and made her drink the water. Kumiko gulped down the cold refreshing water and looked around. "Where are we?" Reina looked out the window and shrugged," What do you remember?" Kumiko concentrated and thought back to about an hour ago.

"I-i shot some of those men with lightning? After that I blacked out. " Reina sighed, "Well a lot has happened from then." "What will happen to us?" "Well they'd probably run tests on you and if you don't cooperate, they'll torture one of us." "Us?" "Us 5 with no powers." "Powers?" "Yes powers, like you can control lightning,  I'd seen Mika and Isla too, they can control fire and ice respectively. Now enough questions. Want to walk around?" Kumiko nodded and Reina helped her out of bed.

Reina opened a random door, hoping whoever was inside wouldn't mind. The people inside didn't know, much less care that they were there.  Kumiko took one look at the scene and gushed, "Awww they're so cuteee." Reina smiled softly at her two friends sleeping. Ittoki's hair was slightly ruffled, and he had a soft smile plastered on his face. Tokiya was muttering incoherent words while grasping the other's hand.

"What are you doing here?" Kumiko turned to see a brown haired junior high school boy leaning against the door frame. "Who-" "I'm Takahashi Hideki, I assume you were the one passed out the entire trip. "Uhm I guess so..." Hideki smiled, "Well it's time for dinner, go call your friends ok?"

~Hello, well my mom keeps getting me to go do something so I had to rush this. Uhm did it sound rushed? Well if it did im reallly sorry ok well I'd probably update say Sunday? Or Monday Enjoy ^^
