... Again?

Akane yawned as she scratched her head. She changed her clothes and put her hair in a braid. It was 2 weeks into the holidays and Akane still couldn't shake the habit of waking up early. She hummed as she went down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Today, they were going to an amusement park with the group, The shorties and her. Akane pulled some pieces of bread out of the plastic bag and put them in the toaster. She opened the fridge and pulled out a carton of milk, dropping it on the floor. She grumbled and picked it up, spotting a bottle of chrysenthamum (is that how you spell it?) tea. 'Oh well I guess it'll be a little treat' she thought and took it out. She put the milk out and put out 3 glasses. She heard a door creak open and saw Mika step out, a pile of clothes in his hand.

Akane smiled, waving at her adopted brother. Mika smiled lazily and waved back, yawning as he walked to the bathroom. 'His... eyez were a bit weird...' She sighed. So much was going on the past month and a half. First the explosion, then Mika's green eyes. Now what? She divided the tea into the 3 cups and capped the bottle, throwing it into the recycling. She heard a loud sigh and looked up to see Mika looking down in her, eyes narrowed. "Akane, are my eyes red?" Akane's eyes widened as she noticed his eyes and nodded. Mika grumbled and tugged at his hair.

The house silenced as Mika glared down at the floor. Akane and Yuu's parents were always working overseas but paid for the rent and sent money twice a month. "Just" Akane looked up at Mika, eyebrow raised. "Just don't tell Yuu. Yet ok?" Akane nodded and Mika smiled softly. He nodded and walked back into the toilet. Akane just then noticed the smell of burnt toast and looked back. "Ah noo" Akane sighed and turned off the toaster. "Looks like it's eggs today."

Mika stared into the mirror, and a red-eyed boy stared back. Mika sank onto the floor, clutching the sink. 'I need to relax' he turned on the hot water. He stripped of his clothes and lowered himself into the bathtub, getting used to the temperature. He sighed as the warm water engulfed him, his fire red eyes staring at his eyelids. The warm water relaxed his muscles and his eyes flickered open. He ploughed through his thoughts and arranged them slowly.

'Ok so... since the explosion, my eyes changed colours twice, that building that exploded... it was a science lab, a professional one. Maybe they invented some kind of potion... to change eye colours? That would have been ridiculous! And if it had been, why had it gotton into our bodies at the explosion? And why hadn't Yuu got it?(Cause he was wearing that protective gear Mika • 8 •)' Mika sighed again and rubbed his head. "Mika?" A groggy Yuu knocked on the toilet door and Mika shot up. "Can I use the toilet?" "Yes. Just wait a sec." Yuu heard water sloshing and being drained and assumed Mika had had a bath. (and he was right! His price is...... air)

Mika quickly toweled his hair and pulled on his underwear. He yanked on a shirt and grabbed his pants. He hurridly pulled them on and unlocked the door, smiling at Yuu before pushing him in to the toilet and slamming the door. "Mika, you-" Mika sighed and walked back to his room, sitting at his table. 'Might as well get my homework done' Little did he know he would never get the chance to hand up his homework.

The man in the tree pulled up his sunglasses to get a closer look. Yes he was correct. The blond's eyes had became red. He was the target. Now he had to find the others. At least 4 others and the blond's group had met that goal. Now all he had to do was wait for the past of the effects before he could report back to Dr. Junko. Just 3 more weeks.

Yuu walked over to the table and sat down. Today they had scrambled eggs... again. He looked up at Akane, confused. Akane gave a small, sheepish smile and explained she burnt the toast. Which was unusual. "Mika! Breakfast is ready!" Yuu looked over at his sister and asked, " What happened to Mika's eyes?" Akane flinched slightly and shrugged. She sat and looked over at Yuu. He sighed and put his hands together. "Thank you for the food" he tucked in on the scrambled eggs and drank a sip of the suspicious yellow liquid in his cup (hmmmmm....). "Chysenthumum (how do u spell thissss) ?" Akane nodded and smiled, "The really expensive one, you know the ¥9000 one (which btw, is Singapore $100)" Yuu's eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

"Close your mouth Yuu, do you want to catch flies or something?" Mika said mischievously. Yuu snorted, looking away. "Your eyes are red..." "not as much as your cheeks Yuu" Yuu glared at Akane, cheeks even redder. Mika laughed softly and sat beside Yuu, ruffling the shorter boy's hair. "Thank you for the food"

Akane locked the door and ran after MikaYuu, who had taken off without her. "Haven't you guys ever heard of waiting?" Mika looked over, smiling innocently , using his hand to make Yuu shake his head. Akane sighed and they walked along, picking Tokiya, Ittoki, Nozomi, Eli, Shorties, Tsukasa, Isla ,Reina and Kumiko on the way. Some of their eye colours had also changed, but they didn't bother making a fuss over it. Besides, it was their holiday!  They talked bout stuff on the way and when they reached the amusement park, Isla immediately shot forward and bought 14 tickets, running back to them in the blink of an eye.

"Ok guys we can go anywhere, meet back at 7.30" it was 12, so they had 7 and a half hours to play. They were each supplied with $50 and premium tickets, so they broke off into groups and wandered into the different sections of the amusement park. Ittoki and Tokiya headed over to the highest roller coaster, but it was more of Ittoki dragging then Tokiya walking. Mika, Yuu and Shinoa headed for the spinning cups cause why not? Syo and Kaoru went off to a haunted house roller coaster, Isla, Tsukasa, Nozomi and Eli headed off to a restaurant and Kumiko and Reina, the haunted house.

Kumiko gulped and her grip on Reina's arm tightened. Reina looked over and smiled reassuringly at Kumiko. Kumiko gave a shaky smile back and calmed herself down. They started walking slowly as the hallways filled with an eerie music. Carboard cut-outs of ghosts lined the hallways and greenish-white mist fogged up the halls. The wood floor creaked beneath Kumiko and Reina's feet and shadows cast on the floor. The lights cast an eerie glow on their surroundings. Kumiko gulped and froze. Reina looked ahead to see what happened and spotted what scared Kumiko. It was a life sized doll covered in what looked like blood and dust. Kumiko whimpered and crouched down, head in her hands. Reina sighed softly and kneeled down beside Kumiko. Kumiko's hands clasped her ears as she took sharp breaths "It's fine Kumiko, I'm here don't be scared. Shhhh" "But tyat... thing-" "Its fine I'm here I'll protect you. Grab my hand, you'll be fine." Kumiko nodded and reached out to take Reina's warm hand in hers.

They walked out quickly and Kumiko ran as she saw sunlight streaming in. "AHHHHH" Kumiko sighed loudly as she twirled around, her skirt flying around her. Reina smiled and looked at her watch. 1.30. They had spent half an hour in the haunted house. Reina sighed for what was the millionth time since 2 and a half month. "Come on let's go" with that Reina pulled Kumiko off to god knows where.
