Nova Swan {Embry Call}

I was frowning in confusion as I followed the guys inside or more like followed Embry. "Emily Sam's fiancee don't stare it bugs Sam" says Embry in my ear. My frown got deeper but I nod anyway. As we got inside we were met by a girl with a big scar across her face and I deduced that it was the famous Emily so as Embry told me not to stare I didn't.

"Who's that" asks the girl that I'm guessing is Emily.

"Nova Swan my academic rival !" Says Jared jockingly.

"There can't be a rivalry if I'm better than you Jared" I reply with a smirk. Everyone but Jared starts laughing as he fakes being hurt by my words.

"Wrong I'm better" says Jared.

"Yeah ok keep telling yourself that" I reply with a smile. Everyone chuckles as Jared roll his eyes. Emily put some muffins on the table and the guys launch themselves onto the food making Emily and I laugh. I sit down on the couch and Jake come sit beside me

"Alright ask away" Jacob says.

"Ask what ?" I ask with a chuckle.

"Any question you have about us" he says.

"Jake... I'm not Bella... I already know the stories only thing I wanna know is what's not in the stories" I say simply.

"Alright well uh there's not much really that's not part of the stories there's only one thing (look behind me) I'll tell you what I know about it which is not much but Sam , Paul or even Emily can answer your questions about that" Jacob starts confusing me.

"About what ?" I ask frowning.

"There's a wolf thing called imprinting... Once we've imprinted, we feel the need to constantly be in our soulmate's presence and to unconditionally give them whatever they want or need. There's a shape-shifter law that no wolf may harm the imprintee of a fellow pack member, as this will lead to destructive in-pack fighting. Basically how people that have experienced it describe it. It's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like... gravity moves. When you see her, suddenly it's not the earth holding you here anymore. She does. And nothing matters more than her." Jacob explains and my jaw drop.

"Well that's... deep so wait Emily is Sam's imprint right ?" I ask.

"Correct" he says nodding.

"Wait so is Rachel Paul's and Kim Jared's ?" I ask .

"Hell yeah Kim's mine !" Jared says with that goofy smile of his and he said that with such pride I can only smile at him.

"Ok so do you have one Jake ? What about you Embry ?" I ask looking between them.

"I don't but Embry does he just doesn't have the guts to make a move" Jake says with a smirk looking at Embry.

Everyone laugh as Embry roll his eyes.

"Now Jake don't be a dick at least he has one unlike you" I say coming to Embry's defense.

The guys all went like "ooooh" as Embry laugh and Jake roll his eyes punching me playfully on the arm. We keep on talking and soon enough I have to go home because it's getting late.

Once home I go to bed wondering who is Embry's imprint since they all refused to tell me. I do feel a hint of jealousy towards whoever is his imprint... ok maybe more than just a hint. I mean yeah I started to like Embry like a lot. I mean he's funny, kind and god he's incredibly handsome. I toss and turn in bed unable to sleep so I decide to get into a bikini and grabbed my wetsuit stuffing it into a bag with some spare clothes.

I put my shoes on as well as some clothes before quietly leaving the house. In other words yeah I'm sneaking out ok. I put my bag on my shoulders and start running towards Paul's place since my board is on the top of his van. After running for fifteen minutes I get to Paul's out of breath I take a second to catch my breath before walking over to his van.

Shit how do i get it down without waking Paul? Maybe I should try my powers ? Could be dangerous though... ahhhh fuck it I really want to go surfing. I take a deep breath before letting my instincts guide me. I use the wind to detach the ropes and then slowly use it to lift my board up in the air. Carefully I make it come towards me and then slowly lower it until it's in my reach. I grab my board and smile at myself.

I look around before walking towards the forest. Board in my arms and bag on my shoulders. I make my way towards the beach and once there I let my board down on the send and take off my bag letting it down on the sand beside my surf board. I take off my clothes and shoes leaving me in my bikini I take out my wetsuit from my bag and put it on quickly because it's kinda cold tonight.

Once in it I grab my board and run towards the water. I get in shivering at the contact of the cold water. I get on my board and swim further into the ocean. I surf for a while until I take a big wave bigger than ever had. At first everything is fine and I was slaying this wave until I get stuck in the pipe and end up falling in the water. It's a swirling pool. I try to swim back up and slowly I'm losing my breath and start to panic until I'm able to get at the surface.

I take a big breath and then there's another wave that comes crashing down on top of me. I get slammed down into the water and yet again I try to swim to the surface. Because I'm still attached to my board I know in which direction to swim but it's hard with the tide against me. I finally get back at the surface and look up only to see a wave forming.

Quickly I get on my board and start to swim as fast as I can even though I'm out of breath the adrenaline is pushing me to swim and swim and not stop, the wave crash down and get the back of my board I scream as I'm sent flying up in the air.

I land back in the water feet first and so I'm able to get back to the surface fast even with the tide I get back on my board and start swimming again. Finally I make it to shore and I walk out of the water board in my arms and completely drained out of energy. I lay down on my board panting and look at the stars. God I got lucky.

"Nova ! Nova!" I hear someone call out. I sit up and look around towards the sound of the voice only to see Embry running towards me.

"Embry ?" I ask more for myself than for him.
