To wave the white flag but not saying that you've given up
To surrender all that you are to another being
B r e a k
your walls down
Take a sledge hammer to it
Turn it into a garden
That both of you take care of
To give your all to someone
Tell them your deepest secrets
Your pet peeves
What you hate
What you're allergic to
Everything pretty much
Let them into every crevice
It's easier said than done
There is always going to be a voice in my head telling me not to do this
Even though I'm the one here typing it out
This voice whispers to not surrender everything
Every little detail
Everything in your past
Because they could very well take all of those
Secrets
Desires
Likes
Dislikes
Fears
Wants and needs
Every word that you have said
And take it
And use it
As ammunition
