Baba ina wuni, Munira greeted in a bearly audible voice. Lafiya how are you feeling? He asked?. Munira did not answer as she was feeling anything but fine. Her favorite brother Zaid then moved further into the room and hugged her tightly. Your going to be okay inshaallah Zaid said, and that was when the waterworks started.

Every one in the room could all see and hear how much pain she is in through her wails as it was just pure agony. Her mother and father could not bear to see their daughter in that state so they made their way out of the room. The rest who were in the room all had tears in their eyes as the heart-wrenching sobs were also making their heart hurt. No one ever imagined that Munira would be in a state like this one day.

Munira was just starting to calm down at the moment when a male doctor came into the room, and then Munira started crying harder and started shouting. That alerted her parents who were outside to come inside the room hurriedly. M..mama pplease d..d..dont l..l..let h..him h..hu..hurt me ta..ke h..him a..a..a.away Munira cried out to her mom.

The doctor then realized that she was going through PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), so he hurriedly left the room to not make her condition worse. He then called a female doctor to come check Muniras vitals. The doctor knew that Munira did not trust any male apart from her father and brothers.

Ahmed immediately went out to meet the doctor as he did not understand the situation his sister was in. Hello doctor, please I want to know why my sister was acting like that he asked. Your sister is going through PTSD sir and because of that she does not trust any male. But doctor she did not act like that among my brother , father and I Ahmed said still confused. Yes sir, that is because she already knows you and knows that you all wont hurt her, but for other males it is a different case, the doctor explained. Okay thank you doctor Ahmed left the office.

Sir if you dont mind, I would like to have a talk with you, your father and also you brother the doctor said. Okay doctor , let me go and call them Ahmed said. Ahmed knew what the doctor was going to say will not be some thing good, he could feel it.

Upon entering the room, Ahmed noticed that Munira has fallen asleep already. What did the doctor say they all asked him at the same time. Ahmed then explained the situation to them. None of them were happy about what Ahmed told them, but they could not do anything.

The three men made their way to the doctors office and knocked on the door. Come in they heard the doctors voice. They all went inside the room and sat down on the chairs. I called you all here to inform you about what we found out from the tests we took out on the patient. We found out that your daughter has been raped by five men and from the looks of it she tried all her best to fight them all but was not successful. So, the rapists hit her head on the wall or floor hard, that explains the bandage around her head. She was also beaten by them thus the injuries and bruises around her body. I highly recommend for you to get her into therapy for the PTSD and to prevent future depression. The doctor explained.

Okay thank you so much doctor Alhaji Hassan said as he motioned for his two sons to follow him. As they went into the room they again explained the situation to the rest occupants of the room. The females all had tears rolling down their cheeks and the males eyes are bloodshot.

Ahmed and Zaid vowed to themselves that they would get justice for their sister, if not they have failed as her elder brothers.

1 WEEK LATER

Halima fed her daughter some food as they engaged in a small conversation. Munira had truly gotten better over the week as she now talks to people and she does not cry much, at least not as much as before. She was starting to accept what had happened as QADR as it would have happened no matter what because it was already written.

Mama you can start packing now and also getting ready Munira has been discharged now Zaid said as he walked into the room. Okay mama replied. Hanan and Janan start getting the cloths ready and packed into the luggage mama ordered. Okay mama the twins replied.

Zaid then made his way out of the room to finish filling out the discharge form. When he was done he met his father and brother and then they all went into the room together. As they entered, everyone was ready and all packed and reay to go.

Hanan and Janan helped Munira to get to the car as she was still very weak and also very much sore down there so it was really hard for her to walk. She was then settled inside the car with the help of the twins.

Ya Zaid she called out. Yes Munira? he asked. Where is my car? And is it fixed? Munira asked Zaid. Yes it is fixed and do not worry it is as home he assured. Munira just fake smiled at him, he also smiled back sadly cause he knew it was a fake one.

They arrived home soon and Munira slept till they reached. As usual, Hanan and Janan helped their sister to get to the guest room because of her soreness she can not always be climbing up the stairs, so mama suggested for her to stay down stairs in the guest room and mama will also be staying with her in the room.

Munira laid down on the bed to rest a little because she was tired without doing anything. Her eyelids were closing and just then, her best friends came into the room with tears in their eyes. Since they came to know what happened from the twins they came to the hospital everyday and now that shes discharged, they will always be in the house.

Munira how are you feeling now Siyama asked tearily. They all then broke down at the same time, it was very saddening to see their friend like that. After some minutes of crying, Munira eventually fell asleep. The girls decided to stay till she wakes up before leaving.

Munira woke up to find her mother staring at her with tears in her eyes. She did not want to be the cause of her mother sadness, so she moved towards her mother and wrapped my arms around her. Mama please stop crying it is not your fault and what happened was destined to even if you had not sent me. Mama, it is QADR and I have accepted it, all I am praying for is to pass this test from ALLAH and I will be okay Munira said, more like trying to convince herself.

May ALLAH bless you my daughter, you have really grown up and I am proud to call you my daughter. I am hungry mama lets go to the dinning table Munira said. Okay let us go mama replied. Halima was very happy that her daughter was really getting better.

They met the rest including Muniras friends at the dinning table all having a small conversation. They were all surprised to see Munira there. Alhaji Hassan called the attention of his daughter then Munira after you are done eating, I want to have a talk with you he said and then left the room.

Munira had a feeling that whatever her father was going to say to her will change her life forever and it will be for the best.
