That was the sound that echoed all around the room.

"You had just one, one single task for you to do and you failed to do that" the Boss's voice thundered making all the grown men in the room shake with fear and even in his haze if rage he felt an inkling of satisfaction.

"You were supposed to kill her but you let her survive, and she is now carrying one of your illegitimate child?!! What the hell is wrong with you all?!!!" The boss exclaimed with a look of pure anger, he was livid.

"We are very sorry boss" one among the five men infront of the boss spoke out. He was really audacious to talk when the boss was livid, he had a death wish. The boss looked like he was going to explode due to anger.

He glared hard the man who had the audacity to talk. The glare sipped into the man's veins and his blood ran cold with sweat breaking out of his shaking body.

"All of you, out!!!!!!!" the boss thundered. After the men filed out, he looked at his right hand man "So what are we going to do now?" he asked the right hand. His right hand man was his most trusted among all his men and also his advisor and strategist, he was also just as ruthless and cold hearted as his boss which was also an added bonus. He was also the only man who could look into the bosses eyes and also the only man who could speak to him with any tone and say what he wishes to, to the boss.

"The first step to take is to abort the unborn child in her, because that would be a problem for us in future, after that is done we will take our next step" the right hand replied. "You are right but I want the girl to suffer so I want the abortion to take place in two months" the boss said coolly.

"Why? If I may ask" the right hand questioned, he was genuinely confused because he thought the abortion would take place that day or the day after.

Smirking evilly, the boss replied " As I said, I want her to suffer, I want her to get her very attached to the unborn child then I will strike and kill the child, I want her to fall into depression, and my sources say that she is already getting attached to it, then the rest of the plan will take place, she needs to suffer and she will before she dies at my mercy" he finished explaining and laughed. He really was a devil incarnate.

"That sounds fantastic" the right hand said manic-like.

The two were really psychopaths.

MUNIRA'S POV

I and Hisham just got back home, we visited our families after our training at the Defense Academy.

I also requested for some helps from my mama because I am almost resuming school soon and also these days I am very tired, this child is really exhausting me much, sometimes I cant even do anything except sleep. It now has me thinking, during our final exams at school how will I cope if I am this tired.

I rubbed my tummy as I made my way to Hisham, I was to ask him what he wanted to eat cause I decided to order take out, as I said the child is wearing me out.

"Qalb, what do you want to eat?" I asked his. He was playing a game on his PS, he then paused the game and kept the pad aside facing me "You know my answer to that, anything when it comes to you" he said.

"Yes I know that but I am very tired so I was going to order take out, but if you want I can cook some thing for you" I answered, even though I was tired, if he said he wants something I would do it because of the amount of love I have for him and also my duty as his wife.

"No do not worry, we should order I don't want to stress you out in your condition" he replied pulling me to him. "Okay so how about chicken burger, fries, chicken wings, tacos, shawarma, drinks and ice-cream" I listed out my mouth watering already, there were what I craved at the moment, honestly.

Hisham laughed "And who is going to eat all that" he asked. "Me of-course" I answered sheepishly with a smile. "Ohh so dama the food was for you only kenan" he said playfully. "Of-course, I am the one pregnant here ai not you" I raised my brow at him.

"Toh shikenan since you wont feed your husband" he feigned a look of sadness and then removed his arms that was around me from my body. I instantly missed his warmth. "Okay sorry" I pouted at him.

Soon, our food arrived and we ate then got ready for bed.

I fell asleep as soon as my head landed on my pillow, drifting off to la la land.
