It was after school and we were all having a meeting at the house. Edward just told us that he is leaving for a few days to get his thirst under control because he nearly lost control around Bella in Biology.
"Why don't you just kill her and get over with it?" Rosalie asks. Edward glared at her for saying that.
"I'm not killing her."
"Why? She's not your mate!" At this point, Edward and Rosalie both were in an arguing match.
"STOP IT! NOW!" Esme yells. Edward and Rosalie stop yelling at each other and just glared instead. "Now that you two are down acting like toddlers...... Rosalie, this is Edward's choice." Rosalie frowned and Edward smirked. "Edward, you better wipe that smirk off your face." He did just that before Esme continued on. "Second of all, go do what you need to do but you will tell me where you will be going so I know that everything will be okay."
"I'm going to Alaska to the Denali Coven. I'll be back." Esme nodded her head while Rosalie just scoffed at him before heading to her room.
--- 6 days later ---
It's Sunday and I hope Edward will be back soon because Bella has been staring at us all week. She has even went as far as to confront me and the boys to ask us where he was at. Bitch please. You have some nerve trying to get in our business.
It was 8pm and we were all currently doing our own thing until Edward finally walked through the door. Nathan was the first one to notice him.
"THANK GOD YOU'RE BACK!" Nathan yells. That got everyone's attention and then everybody finally saw Edward standing there by the door.
"Miss me?" Edward asks.
"Miss you? Dude, you need to get that blood singer of yours in check. She stared at us all week and then had the nerve to confront me, Nathan and Ethan one day to ask where you were at," I say. Edward looks at me with a surprised and I looked at him with a quirked eyebrow.
"She seriously confront you guys?"
"Yep! Mom nearly went psycho on her because she was being so nosey. Dad just happened to be walking up to see her get angry and was able to calm her down," Nathan says.
--- SKIP TO MONDAY AT LUNCH---
"I seriously hope you talk to her this time in Biology, Edward. We don't need her to keep being nosey," Luke said.
"I will. Don't worry," Edward huffed out and then rolled his eyes.
Once the bell rang for lunch to be over, we all went our separate ways to get to class. Classes were going by quick and I was ready to be out of there. As the bell rang that school was over, I quickly left class to go to my locker and I notice Bella and Edward walking together up ahead of me. She was holding a golden onion.
"Why didn't you move with your mother and Phil?" Edward asked her. Really? Oh my lanta. I'm not listening to this conversation so I quickly tune them out and continue to my locker where Jasper is waiting for me. Once I get my things put up in my locker, we head to the car and wait for the others. We were only there for a few minutes until Edward comes speed walking out of the building and toward us.
"What's got your pants on fire?" Jasper asks.
"Bella noticed my eye color. I had to tell her it was the fluorescence." I scoffed at him after he said that and he glared at me. "What?!?!"
"I tried to tell you that she was nosey and to stay away from her, but noooooooooooo. Someone thought it would be a good idea to get to know her because they thought her blood is so addicting." I gave him a pointed stare. Ass hole. Before he could say anything, I see Bella come out of the building and toward her truck. Edward turned his head to see what I was staring at and when he saw it was Bella, he just stared at her like a creep.
"Keep staring at her like that and she's going to think that you're a creep," Ethan says as him and Nathan are walking up to us. Edward didn't say anything to that, but instead just kept staring at Bella. She looked at him for a second before turning to her bag to do something. Next thing you know, we hear the squealing of tires in the parking lot and look to see a van sliding on a some ice. The person driving couldn't get control of the vehicle and it was headed toward Bella. Instead of moving, she just stood there frozen.
One second, Edward was standing next to us and the next he was gone. We look at the van and it has stopped. Edward was then jumping over the truck and walking off. THAT IDIOT! He possibly just exposed up in front of everyone at this school. I looked at Rosalie and I feel the anger rolling off of her.
"I'm going to the hospital to talk with Edward and Carlisle. I'm pretty positive that's where he's going," Rosalie says.
"I'm going with you," I tell her and she nods her head.
"Okay. The rest of us will be at home," Jasper says. We all got in the cars before heading toward our destination, right before the ambulance showed up.
--- AT THE HOSPITAL ---
Rosalie and I walk to Carlisle's office to talk to him. When he see the expressions on our faces, he knew something happened.
"What happened?" I then proceeded to explain what happened at the school because Rosalie was too angry to speak at the moment.
"THAT IDIOT! HE COULD'VE - " I cut Rosalie off.
"Rose, don't yell. People will be able to hear you." She finally calms down a little, but before she can say anything else, Carlisle's pager went off.
"That must be Bella coming in. You guys stay here while I go check on her." With that said, he left the room so he could go do his job. We ended up following him, but stayed outside the doors so we could hear what was being said. We didn't get to listen much because Edward came sauntering up. I knew him and Rosalie were about to start arguing so I pulled them away from the doors. Once we got a distance away, they finally started speaking.
"How could you - " Edward cut her off.
"I couldn't just stand there and watch."
"You guys stop arguing out here," Carlisle says as he's walking toward us. We all look at him.
"What's happening?" I ask Carlisle.
"She's fine, but she did notice that Edward got to her really fast even though he was across the parking lot." When Carlisle said that, Rosalie started to really go off on him. I had to calm her down and to remind her that we were in a public place.
"What would you have me do? I couldn't just let her die," Edward says.
"This isn't about you. This is about all of us and the danger - " Carlisle cuts Rosalie off once he notices that we have an eavesdropper.
"We should continue this in my office." We looked over to see what he was staring at and it was Bella. She needs to stop being so damn nosey. We just stared at her before she finally said something.
"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Bella asks Edward.
"I'm going to head home. I'll talk to you guys later," I tell them. They nodded their heads and we went our separate ways. Carlisle and Rosalie to his office, Edward with Bella and me to my car. Man, what a day this has been. I know it's not over yet because when they get home, there's going to be more arguing. Might as well let the rest of the family know so they can be prepared.
