Today is the day that we are playing baseball and the boys are excited. Alice and Esme gave us the shirts they made and we loved them.

We were about to go out the door to head to the field, but Edward stopped us.

"Hey, I'm going to go get Bella. I want her to play baseball with us." At that, everyone got silent and just stared at him. I took a look at Nathan and his shoulders were slumped down. I then looked back at Edward.

"Why?"

"I want her to be involved with the family more." Before I could say anything, Esme spoke.

"We'd love to have her." Rose and I got angry at that. Now, Nathan is going to think he can't go and Edward was trying to make it seem like that.

"Since Bella is coming, I don't think Nathan -" I interrupted him.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence. Nathan is going whether you like it or not."

"It's okay mom," Nathan said.

"No, it's not okay. You are going. You and Ethan have been looking forward to this and I'm not about to let a human ruin that for you. If Edward has a problem with it, then him and Bella can stay home." Nobody said anything and Jasper was rubbing my back to keep me calm.

"Nathan? Ethan?" They both looked at me. "Do you remember what Garrett told you both to do if there ever was humans involved with us and happen to be in public?"

"Yes," they both said at the same time.

"Then tell me." I gave them a pointed stare.

"If a woman -" I interrupted Nathan.

"Not that one, you goofball. Next time I see Garrett, I'm going to murder him." I just shook my head. "The other one."

"When you feel like you are about to lose control, stop and count to 10," he says.

"And?"

"If that doesn't work, then walk away from the problem," Ethan says. I can see that everyone is nodding because they are liking the advice. Well, they are about to change their minds once they hear the last part.

"And what happens if it still doesn't work and they try to follow you?"

"Take them to a secluded place and drain them dry," they both said at the same time. Emmett and Jasper started laughing. Carlisle and Esme was just shaking their heads while the rest had their mouths open, except Edward. He was getting angry.

"That sounds like Garrett," Carlisle says.

"You three are not going near Bella," Edward says.

"Then don't bring her," Rose tells him. Before anybody could say anything else, some of us turned and walked out the door. Edward tried to protest, but it was all falling on deaf ears. We made our way to the open field.

--- AT THE OPEN FIELD ---

Esme told us that Edward was still bringing Bella so we had to wait on them before we can start the game. We were all warming up and joking around for about 15 minutes before they showed up. It was decided that the boys and I were on Carlisle's team.

"Bella, I'm glad you're here. We need an umpire," Esme said.

"She thinks we cheat," Emmett says as he started making his way to the outfield.

"I know you cheat," Esme said back while having a smile on her face. She then looks back at Bella. "Call them as you see them."

"Okay."
