It's been a couple of days since the Biology trip to the greenhouse and we haven't heard anything from Bella. Well, I have a feeling that dummy is about to ruin it. We are currently at lunch and Bella is getting her some food and Edward decided to get up and join her. Rosalie and I are mad that he keeps interacting with his blood singer instead of waiting for his mate. I look over at her friends and they don't seem too happy that Bella is talking to Edward. I tune in every once in awhile to see what is being said, but I don't hear anything interesting. She's trying to give theories since he won't answer any of her questions. I laugh at some of the things that she comes up with.
My laughing stops when she invites him to La Push Beach. She's going to be even more curious now since we are not allowed on the reservation because of the treaty that's intact. Knowing her luck, she's going to run into a possible shifter and tell her the Quileute Legends and she will believe them. Damn it!
---- 2 Weeks Later ----
It's Friday and very sunny outside so we can't go to school. The excuse that is given is that Carlisle and Esme takes us hiking and camping whenever the weather is nice. We were all enjoying ourselves until Alice goes into a vision. Before she snaps out of it, Edward takes off out the door and races out of here in his Volvo.
"Alice, what did you see?" I ask her once she snaps out of it.
"It was Bella. She was in Port Angeles in an alleyway and was surrounded by guys. She was trying to fight them off." I look at Rosalie and I can see a concerned look. She may not like Bella, but she doesn't wish that kind of stuff upon anyone. "I can't tell if Edward makes it to her in time or not."
"Let's hope he does," Esme says. We were silent after that.
--- 4 Hours Later ---
Carlisle gets a call to go down to the police station. A body was found nearby and they need him to examine it. It's probably the nomads passing through and are causing more trouble. I wonder who they got this time. Charlie is just going to pass it off as another animal attack. Damn it! They need to stop causing so many problems for us. Are they trying to get us caught?
"Where's Edward? Shouldn't he be back by now?" I ask.
"He made it to Bella in time and took her to eat something. They are about to stop at the police station," Alice says. About an hour later, Carlisle and Edward both come walking through the door.
"Who was it this time Carlisle?" Emmett asks.
"Waylon. One of Charlie's friends. They known each other for over 30 years." We all just shook our heads.
"Damn," Ethan whispered.
"I think Bella is going to figure out what we are tonight," Edward says.
"WHAT?!?!?" Rosalie and I say at the same time.
"Yeah. She figured out that I can read minds and I saw that she had a book on the Quileute Legends."
"This is why I told you to stay away from her!" Rosalie yells. Edward doesn't say anything and just looks down.
"We'll just find out Monday morning if she knows or not," Carlisle says. "Until then, let's try to be civilized with one another." We all said okay and was quiet after that. Poor Carlisle and Esme. Always having to get in the middle of our disputes.
--- Skip to Monday at School ---
School is about to start and we see Bella get out of her truck and starts looking for Edward. When she finally spots him, she walks past him and heads into the forest. He quickly follows behind her. I guess they are skipping school today. She so found out the secret. Great. Now we are at a risk of the Volturi finding out.
When he doesn't come to Carlisle's house after school, we know that he is still with Bella. He is probably telling her anything and everything that she wants to know about us. It wasn't until later that night is when he finally makes it back and he was smiling. When he sees us, his smile drops.
"What's wrong?" Edward asks.
"How much did you tell her?" I ask.
"I answered all her questions."
"Did you tell her about me and my sons and what our powers are?" When he didn't answer right away, I got my answer. I sped over to him and punch him right in the nose. It must've been a pretty good hit because his face cracked a little bit.
"What the hell was that for?" He was holding onto his nose and the part of his face where it cracked. He didn't want to lose his head while in an argument with me. He knows I will light his ass on fire.
"You did not ask for permission to speak about my sons. That is none of her business!"
"I don't want to hide anything from her!"
"SHE'S YOUR BLOOD SINGER! NOT YOUR MATE!"
"I'm sorry! Geez!"
"Sorry isn't going to make up for the fact that you exposed my sons to her. Damn it Edward! What if she decides to go and open her mouth to someone?"
"She won't do that."
"You don't know that! You don't know her that well to know if she will keep secrets or not." He didn't say anything because he knows I am right. "If she brings it up to anyone, especially me or my sons, I will personally kill you and then kill her." He didn't like that I said that because he started hissing at me. "That is the only warning you are going to get."
"Well, I want everybody to meet her officially this weekend," Edward says. Rose and I just glare at him. Seriously? I just threatened him and now he wants us to meet her.
"Are you suicidal?" Ethan asked Edward.
"What do you mean?"
"My mom just threatened you and now you want all of us to meet her. Okay. Like that's going to happen."
"We will love to meet her Edward," Esme cuts in. Well, it looks like we have no choice now. Rose and I glared at Esme, but she didn't even flinch.
"Really?" Rose asked.
"Yep." She then looks back at Edward who is trying not to smirk at Rose and me. "You can bring her over this weekend for ALL of us to meet her and I will make her some food." Edward nodded his head and then went to his room. He knew that Rose and I didn't want to be around him right now so he is trying to stay away.
"I hope he doesn't regret this in the long run," I say. We then all started doing our own thing until the sun came up and it was time for school again. Edward was the first one out the door because he is picking up Bella today. I guess he is making it official today in front of the whole school. Well, this should be good.
