y/n ran up to the bedrooms just as everyone else ran out of them, glass breaking as the house shook.

"yo, what the hell is going on?"
"are those explosions coming from-"
"vanya. we need to get to safety outside the academy."

diego and klaus turned around to see their bloodied sister, "y/n..."

"are you okay?"
"how did you-"
"just don't forget mom." she said as they quickly nodded and ran away.

y/n and luther made eye contact, "y/n, i-"

"not now, luther." the girl seethed before running away with pogo.

vanya arrived at the bedrooms, opening one of the doors, young klaus and ben stood, staring at her.

"to go on a mission, vanya, you have to have a power." ben said.

vanya turned around and walked away, the room exploding. she opened another door, seeing young diego.

"vanya! what do you want?!" diego scolded her.

the room exploding as she walked away again.

she opened yet another door, seeing young allison and luther kissing.

"just get out!" allison yelled as luther started running away.

both allison and luther's rooms exploded as she walked away.

she opened the final door in the hallway, y/n's f/c room. she saw a young y/n staring blankly at her wall before looking at her.

"vanya, i told you to leave me alone." y/n said in full monotone as she returned her gaze back to the wall.

the woman's emotionless face suddenly changed to one of concern.

y/n looked back at vanya, eyes glowing, "GO AWAY, VANYA!" she screamed.

vanya took a step back as her eyebrows furrowed before walking away, blank expression as she exploded the room.

she made her way to the main room, seeing everyone as thirteen-year-olds lined up for a picture.

"stand up straight. every one of you." reginald said to the children.

five stood at the start on the far left with ben next to him, then luther, reginald in the middle, then y/n, then allison, then diego next to her, and klaus at the end on the far right. her younger self walked up to them.

"dad? you forgot me."
"i did not. no smiles, eyes ahead. quickly, now."
"dad! dad! dad!" young vanya repeated.
"no talking! stand still."

vanya started to destroy the house as she looked at the memory in anger.

"miss vanya, that's quite enough!" pogo said.

the rumbling stopped as vanya seized using her powers, looking at the chimp with y/n next to him.

"miss vanya, i understand how upset you are but i can assure you that none of your siblings bear any responsibility for what happened to you as a child." pogo said as vanya made her way over to the two.

y/n shook slightly as she slowly stepped closer in a way of shielding pogo.

"did you know?"
"your father discovered that you were capable of great things, much like your brothers and sisters. but your powers were...too great. he only wanted to protect you from yourself, as well as your siblings." y/n and pogo looked up to see luther and allison leaving on the balcony.
