"Daphne Devi, what are you doing?"

"I was going to ask you about the parcels that were delivered over the past week," It wasn't a complete lie.

Daphne's parents had texted about sending her something that probably arrived while she was at school.

"I remember Trudy mentioning that you kept them in the store room and had locked it for safe keeping." The brunette smiled innocently, holding up the master keys, "Wanted to bring them down to you to save you the extra trip."

She handed the keys over to Victor, who more than happily took them away from her grasp. "Okay," He sighed, "But next time you do not enter my office without permission." Victor pointed at her with the keys, "And you know the rules about the keys."

Daphne nodded, hands behind her back, "Yep, sorry." Victor sighed before gesturing for her to follow him down to where he had stored the parcels.

The four were impressed by Daphne's very convincing act. "Wow," Nina looked to Patricia and Jerome, "Thank god she's quick. I was probably going to say how I'm an amateur taxidermist or something." She chuckled, gesturing to Corbiere.

Patricia squinted at her before turning to Jerome, "And you didn't stop her why?" She was talking about Daphne helping Nina. If Jerome had said something, Daphne wouldn't have helped Nina.

"She said to trust her," Jerome surrendered, his hands up in the air. "I can't stop her if she said that." Patricia rolled her eyes at him, not happy that Nina managed to get the key so easily.

"Lucky," Alfie stated from where he stood on the stairs with the cleaning supplies. "Very lucky," Jerome agreed, raising his brow. Both boys had a smile on their faces, genuinely impressed by how quick she had been in getting the key.

Nina had a smile on her face, glad to have stayed out of trouble with Victor. However, her smile dropped as Patricia spoke up. "Well, we'll see how lucky she is tomorrow night when she goes up into that attic."

The three of them left while Alfie stayed to clean the stairs thanks to his polishing comment.

The next day, Patricia had walked with Daphne, Jerome and Alfie to their History class. The redhead had been worrying about Joy. Again.

"The calls were going through Joy's voicemail, but now I'm just getting an unobtainable signal." She showed Jerome her phone, hoping he'd have a clue about it, "What does that mean?"

He stopped, letting Daphne through between them to head to the tables in the third row. Meanwhile, Alfie had been moving around behind them, trying to get a good view of Patricia's phone.

"It just means, Patricia," Jerome took his blazer off his shoulder as he neared Daphne. "That she's gotten fed up of you bombarding her with messages and texts," Jerome chuckled as Alfie smiled at what his friend was saying. "Now she's changed her phone contract."

"Not funny Jerome!" Patricia whined, settling down in her seat.

"Hey, that's my seat!" Alfie realised that Jerome had squeezed behind Daphne who was in his chair.

"I'm pretty sure Jerome rather have me sit here than you," Daphne teased her friend as she heard Jerome chuckle on her right. Alfie shrugged, knowing it was true, looking for an empty seat before settling on the one behind Patricia.

"All the world's a stage," Everyone turned to the back of the class, where the sudden loud voice came from. "And the men and women merely players."

A few girls widened their eyes at the sight of the fairly good looking male.
