Adrian's P.O.V.~
God what the hell was I thinking? Calling Scarlet my girlfriend? Why did I even say that?
Because she reminds you of her, my mind told me.
I couldn't put that thought to the side. She really did remind me of my past love. But she was dead and there was no way to bring her back.
There is one way.
I shook my head, and ignored that. Yes there was a way for angels to come back but not as what they were before exactly. It's like a reincarnation. This process is for angels and a bit more complicated. But I knew my girl didn't come back.
Nothing is impossible.
"Stop it!" I shook my head. I wanted to yell in frustration, and curse at the world. Why the hell did I keep messing so many things up?!? I haven't felt this way in, years. So much frustration and confusion, god relationships suck! I jogged out of the building to see Scarlet no where in sight. Great. I hope Incubi hadn't taken her yet.
All of a sudden, I heard an echoing laugh, like the wind was chuckling at me. Incubi.
"Show yourself Incubi, I know your there." I demanded. Surprisingly, he showed himself on my command. All dressed up in a tux while his red eyes flashed and stuck out very clearly. He held an evil smile on his face.
"Why, no hello or how do you do?" he grinned.
"Where is she?" I questioned.
"What! You think I took her? The first second you don't see her, you automatically think I did something to her!" he gasped.
I didn't react to his comment. He sighed in disappointment.
"Believe it or not, I don't have her. I can capture her whenever I desire but interfering with this train wreck, no way. And I'm not even doing a single thing. Yet it still ends up in a mess." he smirked. Thats it!
I sprinted over to him, grabbed him by the neck, and held him against a tree. But he kept laughing at me. And didn't pay any attention that I had to upper hand. "What happened to us Adrian? We used to be such good friends in the past, what happened?" he cocked his head.
"You know what you did." I hissed.
"Ah, but you can't even say it! After sixteen years you still can't even admit it! That's purely pathetic!" he spat.
I held him harder to the tree, trying to choke him and tear out his insides. But sadly, that wouldn't kill him.
"Your the one that's pathetic." I snarled.
He smirked. "Why don't you come to hell with me Adrian? You could become a demon and serve Satan as I do and have the fun I get to have everyday." he offered.
"Never." I pushed him even harder, but that's when the tree snapped in two.
He dropped on the ground and quickly got back up. He retightened his tie and stood tall and straight. "So I take it we'll never be how we used to be?" he asked.
I ran towards him and threw out my arm but he dodged me with his super speed. I tried to throw another punch, however he grabbed my hand and twisted it behind my back. As to my other arm as well. Incubi made me crumble to me knees as I struggled trying to break my arms away from his grasp. But he still kept laughing. "Sixteen years it's been and you haven't gotten any better at hand to hand combat. You cared to much for that woman. You need to let go of her." Incubi hissed.
"I'll let go of her when I see you as a pile of dust." I snarled back. He gave a chuckle and twisted my arms more, making me groan of the pain it caused.
