As everybody was beginning to leave it was already dark, the sun had long since set and night came like a blanket shrouding the world with darkness, except of course for the moonlight that shone down on them.

tap, tap, tap.

The remaining people in the gym turned to the ebony haired girl who approached the coach and Takeda with a phone in her hands. They shared a few words before Ukai glanced at the boys and ushered the duo to talk outside.

"I wonder what they're talking about" Tanaka wondered while wiping the sweat off his body as Sugawara guessed "maybe her analysis for us, it seems like she's keen on handing the job to Ukai-san."

"are you sad Suga-san?" Tanaka teased, eyebrows wiggling "ha-?" "that's because you won't be able to see her often if she quits right?"

Sugawara responded by throwing his towel at the boy's face, but his flushed cheeks had already betrayed him as Asahi, with keen interest, asked "eh you like someone Suga-san?"

"it's not like that!" he denied, "it's just, Karasu-san is. . I admire her very much. She sometimes acts arrogant and prideful but. . she's more than that. She's a kind person, even if she gets annoyed at us or Takeda-sensei she still helps us after all."

"see isn't he so inlove?" Daichu whispered to Asahi who nodded.

"I totally see it."

"Oi you guys." Cue angry Sugawara to scare the third years.

"Those guys.." Ennoshita shook his head fondly and in amusement as he finished changing shirts. "Are you guys going home now?" He asked the other second years, Tanaka and Nishinoya turned after chuckling at the three third years' antics. "Mhmm, we took longer than usual, man it's really dark outside." Tanaka sighed looking at the window.

"Oi!" Ukai who had heard them decided to add an announcement, "make sure to go home in groups as much as possible! There have been reports of muggers after all." "Hai!" they all nodded, "it kinda just got scary." Asahi muttered to himself. . slouching into an unconfident posture.

Their libero patted his back harshly, nearly making the much larger boy stumble "don't worry Asahi! I'll protect you!"

"Kiyoko-chan, let me walk you home!" 

"Alright."

"Great, Ukai I'll leave Takeda's safety in your hand." Karasu told him as she was preoccupied with her phone, her thumb was typing in a fast space as well as scrolling. Then as she pocketed her phone, there was a satisfied grin on her face. "All good?"

The black haired analyst nodded "Yeah. But. . we can never be too careful."

"Yeah."

"What about you Karasu-san, do you have anybody to walk home with?" The duo turned to the advisor, Takeda, who smiled warmly at her, but they both noticed the glint of worry in his eyes that not even his glasses could hide. "Nope, but I'll be fine," she waved him off, scratching the back of her neck as she stretched it "besides I'll just drop by my house and change clothes, I have some stuff to take care off."

"That's unsafe though" Daichi approached her as well as Sugawara, but an idea formed in his mind "How about letting Sugawara walk you home?" 

"Eh?!" Sugawara yelled, embarrassed before pinching Daichi's side, giving him a warning look that even made the fearsome captain sweat. "Now is not the time for you to be my wing-man!"
