Chapter: 31

I woke up the next day at the crack of dawn. I was too excited to sleep anyway. I had a shower and took my time to choose an outfit. After an hour of trying things on I setteled on a sage green silk skirt with a white crocheted top. I tidied my bangs and kept my hair down, putting some soft makeup and accessories. Theo's necklace sat neatly over my chest. I smiled as I looked at it in the mirror.
"Girl, what are you doing?" Katie asked groggily, not even opening her eyes.
"Me and Theo are going to Hogsmeade" I answered excitedly.
"Oh, yeah 'njoy" she was asleep by the time she finished her words.
"Love ya" I said cheerfully, to which she only replied with a half muttered me too.

I headed down to the Great Hall, practically skipping. I was in a very good mood. The moment I stepped foot in the hall, my eyes found him. My smile widened at his grin, and I went to him.
"Buongiorno amore mia"
"What" I chuckled.
"Just saying good morning to my love, or did you forget that your boyfriend is italian, cupcake" He grinned
"Oh you're such a brag" He was my boyfriend, oh gosh Theodore Nott is now my boyfriend.

We headed to Hogsmeade to have breakfast there instead, holding hands all the way there.
"So how did you sleep last night knowing I'm not there" Theo asked.
"I've been sleeping alone my entire life, never had a problem"
"Tsk, that must change"
"Well, I mean you can change it" I shrugged.
"Oh yeah?" He gave me a smirk.

We arrived to a small café, sat down facing each others and ordered food. We got a variety of pastries and croissants, Theo ordering a black coffee and me ordering some juice.
"How can you seriously drink this?" I asked.
"It's good."
"It's bitter"
"Yeah I enjoy it dark and bitter like my soul" he joked.
"So what are your plans for the day Luna mia?"
"Luna?" I asked frowning.
"Well don't they call you moony, I'm calling you moon in my own way" He smirked.
"So you'll keep bragging about speaking Italian?"
"I mean, girls used to find it hot when I spoke to them in Italian"
"Yeah well careful who you speak to from now on, or they'll find something hotter, hell" I said giving him a fake smile.
"Ohhhh jealousy, hot" He teased
"Shut up"
"My girlfriend is ready to kill for me, I like that" He smirked. My insides turned when I heard him say that word, girlfriend, the butterflies filling my stomach. I felt my cheeks warming up.
"I hate you" I said looking away to hide my blush.
"Mhm, I like it, it turns me on"
At that, I threw a cherry that was on top of my tart towards him, which he caught with his mouth nonchalantly, chewing it while I glared at him.

After breakfast, we decided to sit on a bench that was in one of Hogsmeade's woods. We sat there enjoying the scenery while holding hands.
"How did this happen?" I wondered out loud, motioning towards our intertwined fingers. "I mean only yesterday, we could barely exist in the same room."
Theo chuckled, the sound of his genuine laughter warming my heart and making me happy that he's happy.
"I don't know honestly, guess it's the tension, just like with Draco and Elle."
"Hmm fair enough, although we're less stubborn" I agreed.
"I always saw you with Elle, but when we started getting closer to her, I couldn't help but notice you more. This had never happened to me with any girl before. I would always find myself searching for you near Elle, in classes, on meals, you could say I was intrigued. And then that dinner with you, your sweetness yet craziness was so unique. Even when you'd be clumsy, I'd find it so adorable and that threw me off. I just wanted to be close to you at any possible opportunity, that's why I couldn't stop annoying you and leave you alone. Yeah I guess I was falling for you all along, with every new detail I discovered about you, I found myself falling deeper and deeper."

I sat in silence taking in all what he said. I wanted to cry. I looked at him and leaned in to give him a long sweet kiss.
"Your romance is certainly something, but it's cute I'll give you that" I gave him a smile, our faces still close.
"Ohh amore, don't leave me getting all cheesy alone"
"You were Nott, I guess. One of the Slytherin princes, had all the girls in Hogwarts falling for him, and pretty hot." He smirked at that, jerk. "I never thought of you more that the spoiled rich player pure blood, but when I met you formally, I thought that maybe you were more than that, and you were. For instance I found out that you can be funny sometimes, and that you care about the people you're close to. I loved your protective side. But above all, what made me fall for the infamous Nott-"
"Was my charm?" He asked confidently and I chuckled.
"No actually, it was something I saw, just a glimpse, that under all that shiny prestigious exterior, was a sweet caring boy that I believed deserved to be taken care of"
"Careful moons, all these pretty words might get you in trouble"
"As long as you're by my side, I don't care"
At that, he smiled at me, inching closer.
"I promis you, Sara, that I won't leave your side" he then kissed me.
"I love you" I whispered when we broke apart.
"I love you more"

Our next stop was, by my insistence, the icecream shop.
"Come on, I know a great shop" I dragged Theo by his hand behind me.
We arrived there and got in.
"Good afternoon!" I greated the shop owner with a polite smile which she returned.
"Hello dear! What can I help you with today?"
"I want two cones of icecream"
I then went ahead and chose the flavours I wanted in mine.
"Choose" I told Theo.
"Uhm why don't you choose for me love"
"Ugh fine, I know nothing can beat my taste" I joked.
"True" he winked.
I chose him the best flavours, he paid after having a near fight, and we headed out.
"I can't believe you're literally half Italian but never tasted icecream." I said in disbelief.
"Well guess can't have it all" he shrugged.
"Come on then, try!" I urged. He slowly took a lick, then another, then another.
"So?"
"Bloody hell, that's good" he muttered in a full mouth to which I chuckled. My chuckle became a full on laughing fit.
"What's wrong?" Theo asked but I couldn't stop laughing. I clutched my stomache as it started cramping from my laughs.
"What?!" Theo whined.
"N-nothing, it's just... your nose" I said between laughs.
"What?" Theo was confused, his hand touching his nose searching for what's wrong.
"Here silly" I removed the icecream that was scattered all over his nose tip, trying so hard to suppress my giggles.
"Oh really? " He then dipped his finger in the icecream and placed it on my nose.
"Theoooo!" I whined, pouting.
"It suits you babe" he then kissed the tip of my nose. I was ready to melt there and then, heat spreading across my face, I quickly averted my gaze.
"Awww is someone shy" Theo teased as he wrapped his hand around my shoulder in a side hug and we walked eating our icecreams.
"You can't keep doing that" I said.
"I will do it though, get used to it" He smirked.

Just before the evening, we decided to end our day in the Three Broomsticks. We entered the small bar and huddled in one of the seats in the back. We ordered two butterbeers and enjoyed the sweet beverage.
"We should get going soon, don't wanna be caught after curfew" I said.
"Don't worry, we'll finish our drinks and go"

As we sat there, the golden trio suddenly entered the bar and sat on one of the tables in front. Harry and Hermione were facing us, while Ron's back was to us. My eyes caught Harry's as he saw me and Theo sitting beside each other, his hand over mine on the table. He noticed too and tightened his grip over my hand, I looked at him to see him glaring at Harry. Meanwhile Harry was giving me a betrayed confused look, Hermione was looking in disappointment, and Ron, who turned to see what the others were looking at, gave me a dirty look. I shifted in my seat, uncomfortable from all the eyes on me.
"Do you want us to go love?" Theo asked gently next to my ears.
I nodded my head, and he held my hand tightly as we left towards the castle.

We arrived and I was still feeling dimmed from their looks. I knew for a fact that Harry will tell my father, both of them. I sighed.
"Don't let them ruin the perfect day we had" Theo said from beside me. "And you can always deflect the subject until you go back home, enjoy your time for now" he added as if reading my thoughts.
"You're right I guess"
"I'm always right" He said and I couldn't help but huff a laugh.
"Ugh I don't want to go to the tower and have to see them eventually" I complained.
"Well you don't have to"
"What do you mean?"
He just steered us until I eventually found myself in his dorm.
"I convinced Matheo and Blaise to switch beds for tonight, and since Blaise is with his girlfriend-"
"Blaise is sleeping with Katie?!"
"Just cuddling" he raised his hands "or at least that's what they say, but what matters is that we have an entire dorm for ourselves" he said with a dirty smirk.
"Pull yourself together Nott, the only thing you'll get is a cuddle"

So we laid on his bed, my head on his chest, his arms around me, his heartbeats lulling me to sleep. I was wearing one of his tshirts which was a dress on me. I was falling asleep quicker than I wanted, but our day was long and I was tired.
"Sleep well, cupcake" Theo whispered.
"Goodnight love" I said sleepily.
