Our plan had worked out, and the next morning when we opened the door of Draco's dorm, they were finally official. Things went back to how they were supposed to be; me and the girls, with our boys. We hung out together most of the times, eating meals together, spending our breaks between classes in the courtyard, going to Hogsmeade on the weekends. Me and Theo couldn't get any better, our love and relationship growing every day. I had my run ins with the Trio, and they weren't pleasant, but soon they left me alone and resorted to the silent treatment and hateful scowls.

"So you're dating him?!" Harry had said angrily once when he spotted me in the common room. A few students had looked our way, their gazes drawn by Harry's shout. Ron and Hermione were standing behind him.
I looked at him, not knowing what to say.
"Let's leave Harry, she's not worth it" Ron snarled from behind him.
"No, I won't leave until I get my answer"
"Your answer, Harry, is that it's none of your business" I replied.
"So you are? How could you?" His voice was laced with venom.
"I have nothing to explain, especially not to you"
"So that's why you're avoiding Remus's letters?" He was right. I was avoiding the letters sent from home, from both of my fathers, and what he said made me sure that he was the one feeding them with news about me.
"I don't get how my life and friends affect you by any means Harry" I stood on my feet, fuming with anger. This was getting quite childish.
"It affect me, in fact it affects all of us. And you're not friends with Nott. You're dating him. A Slytherin. Do you know who him and his father work for?" He was referring to him. I knew it. They just assumed all Slytherins were his evil followers.
"Not everything is black or white Harry" I looked at Hermione, eyes pleading, begging her to say something. But she diverted her gaze away from me. She too wasn't on my side.
"Let's go mate, she's obviously too enchanted by the Slytherins" Ron spit in a disgusted manner, pulling Harry away.

Since that day, I received many letters from home, all were stored, unopened, in my drawer. At first I felt guilty, thinking they'll get worried, but then I remembered that Harry was probably relying all details of my life to him. And honestly I didn't want to fight over letters. Theo's distaste towards the Trio increased, a fight almost breaking between them several times.
We had exams during the month that followed, most of my time was spent studying in the library with the others, sometimes with Theo alone, although nearly all of those times ended up with us doing anything but studying. The third and final task of the tournament approached, students excited for the final quest.

That day, we all headed out at sunset. On the Quidditch pitch, the walls of a maze now stand, nearly twenty feet high. The contestants were gathered, each at a separate entrance. Each was accompanied by a handler; Karakoff for Krum, Madam Maxine for Fleur, Amos Diggory for Cedric. All nervous. Krum was standing, his head lowered like an ox, face blank. Karakoff whispers urgently in his ear.

Maxine, accompanied by Gabrielle, is massaging scented oils into a subdued Fleur. Amos Diggory is instructing and practicing useful spells with Cedric. Harry stood alone. Moody limps over to Harry, roughly squeezes his shoulder. My knee bounces, Theo holding it still from beside.
"Relax, amore. You're more tense than the champions themselves." He said, leaning over to look in my eyes.
"Yeah sorry. It's just.. I don't know. Maybe it's just because it's the last task." Although there was a gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomache. The air was still, night seeping into the sky, and I just had a bad feeling about the night. I was insanely anxious, Theo's hand squeezing mine and our shoulders touching, providing me an anchor.

"Earlier this evening, Professor Moody placed the Triwizard Cup withing the maze. Only he knows where it resides. As the scoring is close, the first to touch the Cup will become the first Triwizard  Champion in over one hundred years." Dumbledore addresses the crowd, which roars.
"Champions, prepare yourselves. On three. One. Two-"
BAM! Filch fires the cannon and the Champions disappear into the Maze through their separated entrances.

"So what are your plans for summer?"
We were sitting waiting for the Champions to emerge. From our position, we couldn't see anything, so we just waited. Hogwart's band was playing some tunes into the air.
"I have nothing planned yet."
Summer Break was soon, and I was dreading that time. I'd be back at home, and with all my ignored messages, and Harry probably feeding my father, both of them, with news about me and Theo, I wasn't anticipating going back.
"Don't worry, they both love you dearly, I don't think their anger will last long" Theo said, as if reading my mind. I wrapped my arm around his back and nestled into his side.
"You know, the fact that you read my worries and ease them without me talking makes me love you even more Theodore Nott"
"Is that possible though?" He said, his head resting on mined.
"Hmm, guess not" and I looked up and kissed him a quick kiss.

"How will I see you this summer?" He asked, still hugging me, my head resting on his shoulder, breathing in his smell, his cologne filling my senses.
"If I was still alive after I go home, I sure as well won't be allowed to see you" I sighed.
"As if if I told my father I was going to meet my not only Gryffindor, but also daughter of Lupin and Black, girlfriend he'd keep me alive. That's why we have Elle. You'll tell them you are going to visit her, and I'll say I'm going out with Draco or Blaise and then we can meet. I'm sure not spending the summer without seeing my wife."
I looked up at him.
"What did you just call me?"
He smirked. "You like it?"
"Say it again"
"Nope" he shrugged like a little child.
"Say it again and I'll give you a kiss"
"You always give me kisses" he pouted.
"Hmmm" I pretended I was thinking of something.
"Say it again marito" I hoped calling him 'husband' in italian would do the trick. I was learning some italian nicknames.
He chuckled and kissed the top of my head.
"You're so cute wife, learning these words for me and all."
"Yeah well you're lucky, don't let this prize escape your hands bambino" I just loved this word, bambino, I thought if was so funny yet kind of cute. It was perfect for teasing Theo.

I looked back to the seats above us, Katie was sitting next to Blaise, both engaged in what seemed like a really interesting conversation.  Elle was sitting right above us, with Draco next to her, his hand resting on her leg. He was whispering something in her ear as she smiled. I looked back at Theo, still wrapping me in his arms. I thought of how everything was working out for us. We were happy, and with people who cherished us. I tried to ignore the future, and what it held for us, for us all. I knew none of us had it easy with the boy she's fallen for. Me and Theo's families were going to be a problem in our future. But for now, I focused on our present, on the weight of his arm on my shoulder, on his head resting on top of my hair, on the warmth radiating from his body. I focused on the way he made me feel and the happiness we had at the moment.

And then, Harry hits the earth with a massive thud, Cedric in his arms. He appeared out of no where. I straightened in my seat. Everyone was cheering, Amus Diggory jumping with joy. But I knew something was wrong, terribly wrong. I looked to see if anyone had noticed yet, and only Draco was looking gravely at the pit, a realisation dawning upon him that I didn't want to believe. The Triwizard  Cup went bouncing silently away. I watch as every student's face falls, reality hitting. Screams rise from the stands.
"Harry! Harry!" Dumbledore is saying, but Harry is sobbing.
"He's back." He shouts.
"He asked me to bring him back, I couldn't leave him... not there.."
I see Fudge talking with Dumbledore, then
"That's my son! That's my boy." Amos Diggory staggers, Dumbledore supporting him. He wails like a wounded animal, dropping, kneeling over his son's body. Cho standing frozen, tears streaming down her horror-stricken face. Harry being jerked away by Moody, still in shock. Madness too thick..
Cedric was dead.

I fought to catch a breath, the air suddenly too thick. I felt the tears falling down my cheeks, my hands shaking. Theo turned me away from the horror infront of us, wrapping me in his arms and whispering calming words in my ears. I buried my face into his chest, struggling to breath, trembling, crying, desperate to remove the picutre of Cedric's body that was engraved into my eyelids now, Harry's words vibranting through my head.

He's back.
