On the way to the mall, the van was filled with fun jokes and nothing but laughter. Chen was a really funny guy, it turned out. I heard that he was really a troll though, like pranks and such.
D.O was made fun of for size and height, but he was a very fierce guy, and he could cook too. I wasn't sure whether to befriend him or be scared of him.
Suho, the leader of Exo-K, was the type to really care for his members, and others too. There was apparently a joke that he and Kris were married and Tao was their child. That made me laugh, because Tao was such a childish boy, it was accurate.
I also learned that Lay was like I saw him, clueless and kind of laid back. He was cool though, and after they forced me to listen to them singing a song, I realized that Lay was my second favorite voice in the whole group, behind Chen of course.
Then there was Tay, my texting buddy. He was as greasy as he was when we texted. But I also learned he was afraid of a lot, like ghosts. That was probably the funniest thing, watching him freak out.
And let's not forget Xiumin. It turned out that I was just gonna call him Xiumin, and I'd always remember that I came up with the nickname. He was protective of both Hajae and I, and in my eyes, he saw me as another little sister. I wasn't sure how I felt about being viewed that way, but did I have a choice?
That was the way I viewed all the people in the van, the van that was on its way to the mall.
My phone buzzed, signaling I got a text. I saw it was from Tao, and I got confused, because I could here him talking behind me.
*FROM TAO: When we get back in, please switch me seats. Chen keeps poking me.
I turned around and twisted my head to see if he was serious. There was Chen, jabbing Tay in the side with his finger. I found it absolutely hilarious, the way Tao tried to ignore it but couldn't.
*TO TAO: Okay, fine. But you owe me.
"JinJin, did you see the cake in the fridge?" Xiumin randomly caught my attention from his seat next to Suho.
"Uh, yea. I did." I shortly answered, finding my voice to be awkward in the middle of all the guys.
"Can we eat it when we go home?" Lay asked, breaking into a begging position, with the most adorable puppy eyes.
"Yea, I'm fine with it. And I'm sure Hajae is too." I shrugged, patting him on the shoulder so he'd stop his begging face.
He cheered, then turned back to his normal position. "I like her, Minseok. Can we kidnap her?"
I heard a cackle from Tao behind me. "I've been working on it for awhile, Lay-hyung. It will happen someday."
I turned around and glared at him, "It will not happen. We went over this."
"Yes, we did. We decided that when you got here, we would find each other and get married." Tao repeated what he declared over texting not long ago.
I shook my head, "No, you decided that. You go kidnap someone else and force them into marriage."
Xiumin added himself to the conversation, "Even if JinJin agreed, you couldn't date anyway."
"Why?" I scrunched my eyebrows. I didn't like Tao, but I wondered.
Suho's quiet voice could be heard whispering, "Because Xiumin would stab Tao."
I burst out laughing at that, but Xiumin continued, "No, SM has strict rules against dating, remember?"
"Wait, what?" Strict rules against dating? What was he talking about?
"SM has a thing against dating. It's just so we can stay popular and we don't lose fans. Baekhyun is the only one in the business that has a girlfriend." D.O informed me, a grim look on his face. "It's not fair that SM doesn't let anyone date."
