Just as we stopped the intense HyoJae fanfiction, a knock erupted on our door. I instantly assumed it was Xiumin, considering no one else would be visiting at such a late time.

Hajae rushed to open the door. On the other side wasn't Minseok, but Kris instead. He had a panicked look on his face.

"Is Tao over here? I haven't seen him in hours." He spit out, inviting himself in.

I decided to check our rooms in case he snuck in while someone wasn't looking, although the odds of that were low. I opened each door and knocked on the bathroom doors, but nothing happened. The entire household sat in our living room, and the hallway was empty.

"No, Yifan Oppa. He isn't here." I admitted. He slumped back, upset.

Sorae stepped in, "Did he say anything weird today?"

Kris thought back, replaying today's events. Then he informed us, "Earlier, he said something about being sorry for Hyojin, Hajae, Lay, and Xiumin. I don't understand though."

What? Sorry for us? But...?

"He texted me the week we all switched buildings. He said he didn't want to be my friend anymore... Anyone know if something happened? Because Tao and I knew each other an extra two years."

Kris shook his head, as well as everyone else who remained quiet. Kris then told me, "He used to say stuff about a girl he knew from another town, and how he was gonna meet her. He seemed so excited back then, so I don't understand why he'd get up and leave because of you."

This was big, and I could sense that the others were just as concerned, but this mainly involved Kris and I. Tomorrow, when it was light, we had to search, no matter what happened. Tonight, on our night out, I'd keep an eye out.

But why did he feel sorry for Hajae, Lay, and Xiumin? Why the closest people to me? And not Chen or D.O? Or Kai? What about the girls?

"We'll search tomorrow, I promise. Go get some rest." I directed him back to the door.

He agreed, but then turned around and told me, "Also, Xiumin wants you guys to come over and meet him over there."

I nodded, letting him leave. Then I faced our crowd, informing the two that we had to head over there instead.

The three of us were ready, walking out the door. Just then, I wondered why Xiumin was making us go to him. But it didn't hurt much, I guess.

We walked in without knocking, only to see Luhan, Baekhyun and Sehun playing video games, Suho reading on a chair in the dining room, Kris sitting on the couch, Tao still missing, and Xiumin and Lay most likely in their rooms. Their apartment was identical to ours.

It only took a moment for the three playing video games to acknowledge us. It started with Baekhyun looking over at us, then ended with Luhan crawling over all of them to get to Hajae.

"Hey, uh... We're here too, yano." Kai mumbled.

"Hello, Love!" Suho finally took his attention off of his book. "Hey, so when do you wanna get married, go on our honeymoon, and have kids and stuff? I'll take you to whatever place you want."

"Suho, we aren't engaged. T'was Chen I said yes to. And we are happy together." I fibbed, cracking a laugh.

Then Lay came down the hallway, frowning, "Is that so? Wasn't it you who I was texting about our feelings for each other like three days ago?"

I thought back on our conversation...

*FROM Potato Chips: How's it going with D.O?

*TO Potato Chips: Are you seriously jealous? D.O's my bff, nothing more.
