3rd POV

A fresh recruit, not yet in his twenties, rushed in front of the large oak door. He was panting heavily from all the running he just did. The young man cleared his throat before knocking and silently practiced the words he needed to recite to his superiors.

Soon, the door slowly opened and a lady in red vibrant kimono appeared. She glanced at her subordinate inquisitively.

The newbie, getting a cold feet, hastily bowed to apologize. "Please pardon me for the sudden disturbance, There's an urgent situation at the lobby that requires the boss' attention."

The older woman nodded in acknowledgment and turned towards the direction of the middle-aged man who was sitting at the swivel chair with his hands laced.

"Tell us the situation." The leader of the Port Mafia coolly stated.

The rookie bobbed his head. "A man who introduced himself as Dazai Osamu suddenly appeared at the mafia grounds. He wants to speak with you, boss."

The redhead woman was taken aback and couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow. "You, people let that man stepped right into this building and ordered you."

A diabolical smile slowly appeared on the face of the doctor.

The young recruit gulped nervously before answering. "I apologize, Kouyou-san. I was not informed much about the details. Akutagawa-san asked me to come here immediately.

The lady executive heaved a sigh and rubbed her temple. A light chuckled was heard from the PM boss.

"Now, now, Kouyou-kun. There's no use getting distress." Mori looked at the newbie with a faint smile. "Thank you for informing us, Makoto-kun. Kindly escort our visitor to come here at my office."

The rookie bowed his head politely and quietly left the room to accomplish his task.

"I'll have to talk to Akutagawa after this." The redhead lady noted.

"Don't be too hard on him. You can't blame the boy. Dazai was his former mentor after all." The raven-haired man remarked.

"That was four years ago." Kouyou said in a flat tone. She silently took the position at her boss side.

Mori nodded his head understandingly and just displayed an ambiguous smile.

A minute and a half passed when the leader of the deadliest organization in Yokohama finally met his much awaited guest.

The former executive entered the doctor's office with undecipherable expression. Dazai stood straight, with both hands inside his trenchcoat's pockets.

"It's been a while, Mori-san." The brunet's voice came out cold and low. He turned his head to the redhead woman and greeted her with a faint smile. Kouyou, in return, nodded in response.

"It's good to see you again, Dazai-kun." The middle-aged man grinned widely. "I never expected a sudden visit from my beloved student."

"Former student." The Demon Prodigy reiterated. "And student sounds a bit off. Our relationship was never on that level." He then corrected.

The PM leader casted an eerie smile, his amethyst eyes gleamed with amusement. "The bitterness of the past never left you, I supposed. "

The brain of the deadliest duo shifted his shoulders. "Your ways of teaching still etch in my memories. It's too hard to forget." The sarcasm was evident.

"Ah, yes. The special trainings you went through were extreme. But it did help you honed your skills." Mori stated coolly not in a least affected.

The ex-mafia waved his hand dismissing the statement. "Well, I didn't come here to reminisce about the past. I came here to offer you a proposal, Mori-san."
