~Kou pov~

I finally leave the classroom I was with Nene-senpai. "That took way longer than expected!" I yawn. "It really did" She whines slightly. Alas, the dounuts for Amane-senpai were ready. "Thank you so much Kou-kun! I'm sure these will help cheer him up!" She says excitedly. I smile at her as I take off my apron.

"Glad to help."

After we part ways, I head to my locker to get my things. Once I was done I decided to take the long way home and walk through the garden. "M-mitsuba!?" I blurt up as I stare widely at the pink boy asleep on the bench. I stare at his calm expression.

"I wish I could tell you, mitsu." I say as I sit down beside him.

~mitsuba pov~

I woke up with my head hurting a little. As if I were leaning on something. I felt a strange warmth on my left side. I eventually shrugged it off and stood up. I headed to my locker and almost shrieked. My camera was not where I left it. Obviously, I run to check the bench where I had been napping.

There I find Mr. Lame-earring himself. As shocked as I am, I can't help but be mad, he had my camera in his hands. "Hey, idiot!" I yell waving at him. "Why do you have my camera?" I say holding back all the insults I was planning on using after I noticed he had a smile.

I hate the fact I blushed at it. "Sorry, I saw you laying here and your camera was left on! I swear I just went to charge the battery!" He said as he placed it back on my neck. I scoffed and walked away. The atmosphere was so intense. I wanted to hug him, hit him, cuss him out and so much more... i don't get it and it's getting to me.

(Two days later)

~still with mitsuba cause I'm too tired, lazy, and i don't get paid enough to switch pov~

"I shouldn't skip.." I mumble out. Mumbling has helped my throat though out these days, believe it or not. I hate my throat when it's feeling icky and clogged. I wipe the nearly dry tears off my face and stand up from my bed.

"Ughh then I have to go to math and deal with Radish senpai since it's high school helpers week.." I groan as I pick out my outfit of the day since uniforms weren't required on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

"I bet all she'll do is gush about some guy or whatever." I say as I start to change from my pajamas to my school clothes. "I don't get what kou even likes about her!" I say in a whisper yell as I across the hall to the bathroom.

I grab my towel and skin care products. "I mean I'm cute, feminine, not to mention way smarter!" I mumble as I finish off with a final rinse. "Maybe it's cause she's a girl?.. Never mind that it's always bros before hoe's" I say with a scoff as I head back to my room and start to comb my hair.

"What the actual fuck.." I whisper yell as my hair gets tangled in the brush. I struggle to get it out and by the time I do, I only have 4 minutes left to get ready. I try to quickly slip on my shoes and grab my backpack. "SOUSUKE!!" I hear my mother yell from the living room.

"WHAT!" I yell back before walking in to the living room. "You know what today is.. I expect you to go pay your respects soon." She stands up and pats my head. "It doesn't have to be today, just soon." She says with a half smile before sitting back down.

"Okay, I have to get to school.." I say smiling at her."Okay, bye Sousuke! I love you!" I smile at her and walk out before I can get scolded for not saying it back. The second I step out I noticed a blonde standing there, almost as if he were debating on something.

"Yo! Mitsuba!" He yelled. I signed and made my way to him. "What's up?" I ask only slightly pissed. "Will you come with me?" He says in a sincere tone. "Fuck no? You're probably gonna take me back to your place to do weird freaky things!" I say dramatically being a pain in the ass.

In response he sighed. "You coming or not?" He asked motioning the opposite direction of the regular school route. "Why should I?" I asked halfheartedly. "Fine.. you better not do some creepy shit." I say as I make my way to him.

"I wont, I just have something I wanna show you." He says smiling. Sure that smile made my heart skip a beat but I would never say that to him. That's far too embarrassing. "You better not" Kou takes my hand and intertwined it with his own.

I was going to insult him but, I was so scared he was going to let go. I silently followed him as he lead us somewhere in the nearby woods. "Why are we here?" I asked somewhat curiously.

"I wanna show you something!" He says with an innocent tone. "Alright.." i follow him as he takes us to a specific tree, one I swore I'd never forget. "Kou?..." I asked eyes fixated on picnic layout in front of me. "D-did you do this?" I asked attempting to stop the tears that escaped my eyes.

Kou hugged me. "Listen, Sousuke. I'm not good with words." His grip on me tightened. "But I still want to be there for you. I still want to be here with you." He said leaving me in a state on confusion.

"I know what today is. If at any point in this day or any point in our lives you need to talk. I will always be here for you." Thank god he was hugging me, I don't anything he's ever said has ever fluttered me to this extent.

"I'm saying I love you." He says as he pulled back to stare at me. I stared back. "You love me?" I asked before realizing what a stupid question that was. He just confessed! Of course he loves me. "I love you." He says with a gentle smile.

"Fuck.." i muttered.

"I love you too."
