🚨TW: MENTIONS OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE🚨

(A oneshot of my oc Jaxon Hopper, from my book Lonely Together. Jordan owned by Rhen_Roth

Also ik its supposed to be a max one shot, but there isn't a lot of content of her. If you haven't read Lonely Together WHAT ARE YOU DOING! also, this won't be as enjoyable. Its basically more non canon content of Jax. Anyways enjoy!)

Since the Creel House incident, Jaxon has been.. less than stable to put nicely. After the help of Ms. Kelly to control his anger and talk about his emotions, it had all gone to shit because Jax was constantly short-tempered, aggressive, and disobedient. Hopper had given him many warnings, but the teen was mad at the world.

Jim didn't want to blame him, as if Joyce was put in the same situation, he would be hysterical, but Jim had never dealt with this kind of thing, and as Chief of police, he did what everybody told him to. Jim sent Jaxon off to a juvenile behavioural rehab center for teens. The deal was 4 weeks and if there was improvement, Jax was able to go home.

"Look, kid, I know you're upset but it's really gonna help you. Plus, taking your mind off of-"

"Don't." Jax's voice cracked, closing his eyes and shaking his head. He didn't want to relive the sight of his lover's dead body in his arms.

"Okay, okay." Jim placed a hand on Jaxon's shoulder, as El came out of their new home.

"I am going to miss you." El said softly, embracing Jaxon in a hug.

"It's only a month, El." The boy rubbed her back. "You'll barely notice I'm gone. Probably like it better without me annoying you all the time." Jax smiled, holding El extra tight. Even if he was annoyed or upset, he didn't want to project that onto his sister.

"Only sometimes." She smiled, pulling away and wiping a tear. It was a long spring break, so seeing Jax leave after just reconnecting broke her heart.

"C'mon, kiddo." JIm patted his back, motioning for him to get into the passenger seat.

"I love you, El."

"I love you, brother."

His first week wasn't so bad. Jaxon avoiding others and only caused trouble if there was a pushy staff member or a kid that was walking too slow. Right now, it was lunch time. After standing in line and collecting his tray (which consisted of some sloppy ground beef, a small portion of buttered pasta and almost cold broccoli. The only appealing thing in the meal was the small papercup of blue gatorade that came with it. Jaxon sat down at a table alone, pushing around the meat with his plastic fork.

"Hey. Cool if I sit here?"

 Cool if I sit here?"
