chapter 5

Hours later

*we see Blake and yang in the local park,  she's spent the better part of 3 hours, just telling stories about her and ruby. Blake was eating her special Tuna ice cream, while yang just looked at her incredulously*

Yang:you chose Adam, over ruby?

Blake: I'm not proud of it but yes. I used to have a thing for broken people angry at the world. And ruby was just.....too cheerful for the little emo girl that I used to be

*Blake said in cringe remembering the "it's not a phase mom!!" Emo phase she had for years. Her mother has so many pictures to embarrass her from that phase. The look yang was giving her, made Blake blush in embarrassment*

Yang:no wonder we never worked out, I'm way too upbeat for you

Blake:no, the reason we didn't work out was because you couldn't keep it in your pants, with Weiss's sister

*Blake said with a huff, taking a lick of her ice cream, yang winced a little bit then shrugged, taking a lick of her normal rocky road ice cream*

Yang:I said worked out, not how it ended. But damn, are you ever gonna let me live it down?

Blake:hm...no. anyways it wasn't till I was free from that cult, that I realized just how much ruby meant to me, how much I needed her, how much I cared for her. How much I missed her....how much I still miss her

*Blake said getting a sad far away look in her eyes, In the distance, she could see two little girls playing together, in her mind those girls turned into a little ruby dragging blake along to another adventure, as she used to call them*

Blake: here's another one for you, we were way older. Just short of a few months before we joined the white fang, back when they used to just be a peaceful organization.....

Flashback

Blake:ruby, where are you taking me

Ruby:on the best thing in the world, we are going on a walk

*Ruby said excitedly, as they were way passed the city limits, and walking into the forest. Blake whined a little, she could be reading books right about now*

Blake:why are you doing this to me? It's Sunday, it's gonna rain soon, it's the perfect atmosphere for staying indoors and curling up to the fireplace with a good book

Ruby:because it's Sunday, and it's gonna rain! It's the perfect time to have a walk and get wet!

*Ruby said with an excited smile, a smile that Blake will miss having in her life. Blake whined annoyed, but that didn't stop Ruby's happy mood*

Ruby: besides, we don't hang out as much anymore. You and Adam keep hanging out by yourself, leaving me alone

Blake:.....

*Blake felt like ruby shot her right in the heart, of course ruby would feel left out, since well...she was being left out*

Present

Yang:booooo, booooo on you Blake

Blake:yeah yeah, he was my first relationship,

*Blake said with a roll of her eyes, she took a lick of her ice cream and tried to defend herself, from yang*

Blake:I didn't know how to handle boyfriend time and friend time

Yang:you still suck ass at it.

*Yang said snickering a little, Blake rolled her eyes and pushed yang playfully. Making her snickering into soft laughter*
