Author note/ bit of a rant: yeah, I'm just bored waiting for the heavy rain to stop, so that I can make the hour and a half walk back home. Also Fuck this app YouTube button, it didn't accept the original link I used, I had to spend 20 minutes, finding a link for both songs, that this piece of shit would accept and yes I know that in the grand scheme of this story any version of the song is fine, but it's important to me, which version of a song I use damn it, and I didn't get to use any of the versions of song I wanted. Anyways y'all getting a new chapter

After eating

*We see ruby and Blake making their way back to Ruby's workshop, ruby wasn't exactly being all that talkative. And Blake couldn't stand the awkward silence*

Blake:s...so! Uh. Where did you go to school?

Ruby: a military school at atlas. My dad. Heh my dad being the overprotective man that he is, took a demotion and a huge pay cut. Just to become the principal, just to make sure I was safe

*Ruby said as she wheeled herself through the street, while Blake looked at her nervously, since she was worried that she would hurt herself, even though she's been in the damned thing for 7 years. Was she being irrational? Yes. But she just wanted to make sure, that she didn't lose her again. Blake shook her head, and gave an awkward smile*

Blake: seriously? Wow

Ruby: no. I'm fucking with you, that would be psychotic.

*Ruby said dryly, ruby gave an annoyed huff when Blake grabbed her handles, since the lights were green for the cars. Ruby saw it, and was gonna stop the wheelchair on time, on her own*

Ruby: Blake stop it. I'm more than capable of doing this myself

Blake: I..I know you are. I'm sorry. I just get so...nervous. scared would be more accurate, that something will happen to you

*Blake said in a soft tone, rubbing her arm as she spoke. Ruby looked at her and just sighed, her golden retriever side, making her annoyance, disappear. Turning into understanding*

Ruby: I...appreciate your concern. Really I do. But your starting to make me feel uncomfortable. Unless I ask for help, do not grab the handles ok?

Blake:I...yes. ok. I'm sorry.

*Blake mumbled softly, as it was safe to go. Both looked at both sides, to make sure some assholes weren't on his phone or something, and they crossed the street*

Ruby: it's ok. Back to the conversation we were having, It was just a normal school. Nothing to write home about. Apart from the fact that it was there, where I met fleur

Blake: then it was a horrible fucking school

*Blake said with a hiss, letting her cat side out. Ruby snorted a little and glanced at Blake, seeing her mumbling unintelligible whispers, about her friend fleur*

Ruby: you met her once.

Blake: and once was enough, I hate her

*Blake grumbled, with her arm crossed, ruby rolled her eyes a little, and couldn't help but smirk a little*

Ruby: hate her, jealous of her. Details.

Blake: I am NOT jealous! What do I have to be jealous about?!

*Blake said, correction, Blake yelled with a deep blush on her face, her tail standing up as she unintentionally started to make the sound cat makes when it was about to fight another cat. Ruby just glanced at her, and then back forward*

Ruby" I want to say, because she got to have my first time. But that's just mean."

Ruby: you're right. My mistake. But let me switch the topic to you. How was beacon?
