I must've missed something that Geo did. When I caught up with him, he seemed so out of it and paranoid. I tried to be careful, but he spun around so fast I flew back a little bit.

"Omhygoshimsosorryiswearisawsomethingareyouokaymanohmygoshomygosh-" He's practically drowning me in his own spit, and I can feel him shaking from 5 feet behind him.

"Don't worry about it, I'm fine!" I smile as calmly as possible, trying to deescalate the situation. Geo takes in my radiating kindness and cools off from his over-exertion, then prepares to tell me something.

He stares me dead in the eye and opens his mouth.

"I don't know if it was delusion or something in my eye, but I saw the guy who put me here."

We stare at each other as I digest what he said.

"What is he even talking about? As far as I'm concerned, he came in here riding a meteor!" He notices me thinking hard, and then facepalms.

"Did I not tell you? Ugh. My memory has been all out of wack today. Essentially," He pauses. "There's this big demon space worm and he has it out for me." I can tell Geo used all his brainpower again, just like for his name.

"Don't push further. He looks like he'll start bleeding from his head if he exerts any more pressure." I think to myself.

"Well. How about we get you some clothes? I always feel like that helps me clear my head!" I suggest with a cheerful gaze.

Geo returns the smile, then gets behind me so I can lead the way once more.

"Y'know, when I'm shopping, it feels like the world melts away and I find myself in a whole other dimension!" I rattle on, but I don't feel the regret I usually do.

I glance back at Geo, and he still has the same stupid, but happy, smile sprawled across his face. I can almost see him giving off a little light before I

BANG

Geo starts laughing hysterically, as I run right into the walking light. I unstick my face and roll my eyes, and signal that we need to take a right.

Shortly after, we arrive at my friend's newly renovated clothing department. Janine was like an angel when I knew her, and I helped her get the funds to start up this business, even if they were a little ill gotten.

I take a deep breath, and hold the door open for Geo. He's still beholding the majesty of Janine's store, standing as if he were a mannequin put out to show her clothes.

As we both step in, the bell rings and I'm swept back 7 months. I'm walking in here for the first time again, to meet Janine and her new store.

"Well well well. If it isn't Ace Jelly! I've missed that smile of yours! Come on now, give me a hug!" The catfish I couldn't settle my feelings for approached me with a loving embrace, and before I could return it and tell her I'm sorry for how I got her money, I'm back in the present. Geo is waving a hand over me to make sure I'm still with him.

"Sorry about that, got caught up in a memory." I laugh with bitter breath and my eyes fall on something beautiful.

It's tall, slim, and black like the void I look up to on cold nights. It's a hat, a top hat specifically. Conveniently, it also comes with a spectacular pair of glasses with wonderfully purple frames.

My gaze is broken by a sudden crash.

"Was it Geo?" I deadpan to myself, but as I glance over to where I heard the noise, I see a shark trying to get into the register.

Geo spots him as well, and threw caution to the wind as he exploded into action. The sudden movement shook me a little before I could even process anything.
