"Ughhh my heaaadddd..." I groaned. All I could feel was a throbbing pain throughout my head. I couldn't really see either, with my vision being so blurry.

After sitting up and situating myself, I looked around. That hat I was thinking about earlier looked just as pristine as when I first laid my eyes on it.

I rubbed my head and began to stand up, but I must've been too fast. It hurt to look. My vision began to fade into static and my head started pounding. After adjusting for a solid minute, and letting the pain boil down, I let out a deep breath.

"I really shouldn't overexert myself like again. Not without more work into my electricity. Frankly, I'm not even sure how I called out that much." I thought to myself.

I started walking around Janine's store, when I came across a strange hole in the wall. I try to think back to if that was there before, when suddenly a sharp object points out.

"Go. Away." A faint, deeper sounding voice spilled out from inside the hole, presumably muffled by the razor sharp blade that started waving around to no avail.

"I'm uhhhh... sorry? I just don't understand what's happening right now. Who exactly are you?" I puzzled.

"That doesn't matter. Fuck off. I don't want you here." The blade waved around frantically, but sunk down in disappointment.

I sighed, and decided that this guy wasn't worth the effort. I began to walk off and explore the rest of the store, letting my mind run free due to boredom.

???

I hate. hate. HATE. When people think they can intrude my hole. It's one of the many entrances I have into my underground network. And now this guy thinks he can be all buddy buddy with me. Great. Y'know, EXACTLY what I wanted.

Once I hear him take off I sigh heavily and turn around to the objective "board." Well, I say board when it's more like a grocery list that I have hanging that shows what I want most.

I stare at the same text I've been staring at for the past months, trying to form a plan to achieve the one goal I etched on there as soon as I set this network up.

KILL THE FATHER.

"As if you'll ever find him." I sigh, "I'm hungry. I should see if there's any scraps down at Pepper's place." I slip into the exit hole and make the journey down to Pepper's Burger Shack.

"Man, is Geo off to another place? I can't find him anywhere!" My mind starts racing as my pace starts speeding. I must've been walking for 20 minutes now. I started counting the loops I made, 12 to be exact, after passing the hat for the 4th time.

"Hey!! Ace!!! Come check this out!!" A familiar voice shouts from across the store. I feel myself starting to calm down and a smile forming on my face. I turn around to see Geo, but now with a navy blue coat thrown on over his back and...

"What IS that?" I think to myself as I stare at a black sack placed where his missing eye was.

"This catfish lady gave me a cool pirate outfit! I've even got a new hand!" He beamed as he flung his new hook hand around.

"That's great Geo! But uhh... what's with the... pouch? on your head...?" I hesitated, taken aback by the sudden flinging of the sharp metal hook.

"Ohhhh.... That's supposed to be an eyepatch! Because I didn't actually have an eye to put there she just grabbed a black bag and put it where the eye would go!" Geo babbled, still flashing the grin of a proud toddler.

"Well, I gotta say. You do look pretty cool! I wonder if-"

"Well if it isn't Ace Jelly! C'mere darling!" A familiar southern tone cuts me off.

I've been dreading this moment since I walked in here. The only reason I forced myself to come to this store was for Geo's sake since he was stressing so bad about the worm guy.

"Heyyyy Janine." I fretted, turning around slowly to see the face I didn't want to see the most. "Fancy meeting you here, huh?" I shivered, wholly unprepared for the long conversation ahead of me.
