We sat in the car for a few minutes, trying to figure out where to eat, or Coffee trying to figure out what I wanted. "How about McDonald's?" She asked starting the car. I groaned. I was going to say no, until I remembered what day it was. "Yeah, that sounds awesome!" I said, giving her a thumbs up. She sighed in relief, driving off finally. I personally hate McDonald's, but there's someone there I'd like to talk to. Also a ten piece chicken nugget doesn't sound too bad.
We arrived an hour later, and with a speeding ticket. The place was empty, which was good, more time to talk. With the biggest grin, I walked up to the counter. "Welcome to McDonald's- Oh my God." He said, he being Kaventon, or Kave, my dearest friend! Though he denies it, I believe he loves me as much as I love him! "What do you want Pinky?" He asked. "I'm purple. And just nuggets and some time out of your day!" I replied, he just kinda stared, annoyed. He loves me, trust and believe. "You come here just to bother me?" He asked. "No!", I did, "I ordered nuggets!" I added, smiling. He sighed putting my order in. "6.89." He said, and I paid. "So how's your day?.". He stared, "Good, until you came in." He muttered. He's lying by the way.. "Awesome! So.. Doing anything later?" I asked, smirking. "Hopefully choking you out.". Rude. But unfortunately a real threat. He has chocked me out...twice. Kinda had a panic attack when he did, but I'm not gonna tell him that. That's me and my trauma. I also don't want him feeling bad. "Right.. So.. I'm trying to figure out my heritage, wondering if you-","No." He said, handing me my food. "What? Why?" I asked. "I have stuff to do!" He replied. Lies, you work at McDonald's and do drugs, stop lying, Emo Punk. "Fine, I'll tell Marxyn you didn't wanna-","I'll go!". Asshole. "Great! We're meeting at the library tomorrow!" I said, holding back the urge to curse him out. "Gotcha, now leave." He said, pointing to the door. "Awe, kicking me out already? Do you not love me?","No." He said narrowing his eyes at me. "Come on! We're dating though-","No we're not you pink bitch, get out!". How rude.. But it is true we are not. I just like fucking with him! ...Not like that though. But we have kissed before, he stabbed me after. " Fine.. See you tomorrow GDR!" I said before. GDR, Gothic Dick Rider. But anyways, that night I crashed at Coffee's place and slept in her bed when she went to "work".
Tuesday I sat in the kitchen, scarfing down some bacon and pancakes Coffee made. Shit was delicious, I didn't even know she could cook.. kinda hot. "When so you think the test is gonna finish?" She asked, the unexpected sound of her voice scaring me. "Think around twelve." I said, sighing. She tilted her head, humming. I waved her concern off, going to wash my plate. "It's fine. I can wait." I said, and she nodded. "Just making sure.." She uttered. "Feel free to hang around here until he calls then!" She added. I gave her a nod, going back to her room. Flopping onto the purple bed, I sighed. I have a extremely bad feeling about this. I laid there for about an hour until I felt a gloved hand run through my hair. "What are you doing?" I muttered. "You looked stressed! Was trying to help!" She said. I sighed, but thanked her for caring.
Twelve thirty-ish is when Marxyn called. "Is it done?" I asked before he could say hello. "Uh, yeah, me and Kave-","I'm on my way." I interrupted, hanging up. Coffee sat up off my lap, groaning, "Come on before I fall asleep again." She muttered. I laughed before following her outside. We took another forty minutes before we were at the library. I walked over to where Marxyn and Kave were, Coffee following close behind. "Finally, took forever." Kave said. "Well, it was either that or I died in a car crash." I said, looking back at Coffee, who simple flipped me off. "Anyways, here Pink." Marxyn said, handing me the computer. I muttered a thank you, taking the computer and opening the results. I scrolled through the many people, who I stopped recognizing after my grandfather. The tree of people ended at a woman named "Amara Seal". "Who's that?" Kave uttered. I responded with a shrug. "Did it stop there?" Marxyn asked. I groaned, nodding. "Bullshit. There has to be more." He said, taking the computer from me. I sighed in annoyance. There's no way it just stopped. That women already looked like me, purple skin and all. There as to be more. My thoughts were cut off by Coffee rubbing my shoulder and Marxyn's words. "Don't stress Pink, we're gonna figure this out with you. Even if it takes years." He said rubbing my head. Coffee and Kave, surprisingly, agreed. Jeez, they're all so kind, and cute. Kave's kind when he wants to be. "Thanks."
