Now the question is, "what are we gonna do with this though?". They all seemed to think, Kave a tad bit less, before Marxyn spoke. "We can start by figuring out who some on these people are." He said. I knew that. Definitely. "Right. Coco, you have paper?" I asked and she nodded, handing me a small note pad and pencil. "First things first." Marxyn started, sitting in the chair next to me. "Let's start with who you know." He finished. "Easy enough. My mother, her father, my aunt, and her kids. After them, everyone else I don't know." I responded. He nodded. "That's your dad?" Kave asked, I nodded. "He's ugly.","I know that fucker","Glad you don't-","Shut up druggie." I said, cutting him off and pushing his head back. "Anyways.. Let's start with your grandfather's parents. What's their names?" He asked and I looked at the screen. "Kelsey and Logan." I uttered, staring at them. "Kelsey.. Think she's still alive?" He asked. Coffee shock her head. "It's been over a hundred years.. Her being alive would be impossible." She said pointing at Kelsey's birth year. 1916. She was right. It has been a while. A long while. I'd be surprised if she was alive. "You're right." Marxyn said, sighing. "Is your grandfather living?" Marxyn asked. I nodded, "I believe he is. Mom says he is." I said. Marxyn nodded, "Should we try getting in touch with him?" He suggested. I thought about it. It might not help, but it's good to try. "Sure, we can stop by my mother's for his address." I replied, facing Coffee and Kave who were doing their own thing. Marxyn spoke again, "I'll bring the computer. You can send me the address." He said, I looked at him before nodding. I looked back at Kave and Coffee. At the moment, Kave was being held in the air by he's hoodie, cursing and hurling insults at Coffee. Who just held him up, poking he's face. "The hell are you doing Coco?" I asked. "Checking him out.", Excuse me?,"I've never seen such a healthy looking drug addict.", Oh. "Drop him and let's go." I said, going to the exit of the library. "On his fa-","On his feet.". She groaned before putting Kave back on his feet, patting his head. Kave pushed her head away in protest and she flicked his forehead before following me. "Jerk." He muttered, holding his forehead. Walking out to Coffee's car, I sighed. "Drained already?". I nodded. "This is gonna be a lot of back and forth!" I said, getting in the passenger seat. She nodded in agreement as she got in the driver seat. Honestly don't know why I let her get there. "But it's fine! You have that smarty and your fun sized druggie!", very descriptive C.. "I suppose you're right.." I uttered. "I'm always-","Shut up.","Ok.."
After a while we arrived at my mom's. I texted Marxyn to show up there. I'm not risking my life again with this crazed woman's driving. I knocked, then waited. "Do you not have a key?" Marxyn asked, I nodded. "I just like knocking!" I said before the door opened. "Pink- You brought friends! Come in!" She said in her usual bubbly manner. I couldn't help but smile. I loved seeing her smile. She didn't smile much when my father was alive. At least not as much as she does now. But anyways, we came in and I explained most of everything while she showered us and cookies and drinks. "My father?", we nodded. "Well.. I'll call him up and tell him you're coming." She said, Coffee giving her the note pad to write the address down. "But..", Fuck, "I don't think he's gonna be happy to see you." She finished. "What." Kave said, looking at me before continuing. "What'd you do?" He asked. I groaned, crossing my arms. "I dropped outta college and he wasn't happy about it." I said. "What were you majoring in?" Marxyn asked. "Health Professions. Recreational Therapy to be specific.". The room went silent for a bit before Kave spoke. "You were smart enough for that?". If I could, I'd throw him out the window. "Anyways, thank you Mrs. Christian-","You're welcome, but it's actually Ms. River.. But call me Violet!" She said, cutting Marxyn off. He nodded and after a while we were out the door and getting into Marxyn's car. "I can't believe you dropped out to be a party clown!" Kave said. "Jester. And aren't you a stripper?". That seemed to shut him up. Now that that was over, Marxyn began driving.
The drive took hours, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep on Kave like two times. Which I remember him definitely being angry about the first time. Second time he gave up. Soon enough I woke up to the car stopping and the sound of chickens? Oh Boy..
