"Thought I wouldn't see you for a while..." He said, pouring himself a cup of tea. I sighed walking inside. "Same here... But I need your help, again." I said. He hummed sitting on the couch. "well what is it?" He asked, sipping from the cup. I sat down, placing the portrait on the table and facing it towards him. "Who's this?" I asked. He placed the cup down looking at the portrait closely. "My grandmother, Amara." he muttered. I nodded. Though he may not look or act like it, my grandfather is ninety. "So we're at a dead end again? No way she's still alive..." I muttered. "What? Boy, she is?" He said, like I should've known. "What?.. How? She'd be like One-hundred and forty-seven!" I said. " I don't know boy, but she is." He said, sipping his tea. "So that means your mother is alive too?" I asked and he nodded. "How come she's not living in that house?". He put his cup down grumbling something. "She likes moving a lot. I want to be angry at you for not knowing your family is still alive but.. I know it's not your fault." He stood, walking to the phone hanging on the wall. "That man held a lot of information away from you." He uttered. "I don't wanna talk about him right now..." I muttered, subconsciously rubbing my neck. "Someday you will.. And hopefully you'll talk to me. I've missed almost twelve years of your life Pink." He said. He looked at a wall, a wall covered in pictures of people I can't even name, but they all look like me. "And I know there are people who want to meet you... and see Violet again..."

The room fell silent, besides his soft mutters into the phone. I really down know anyone on my mother's side... only my father's. Even then I've only seen them once, then again after he died. His sister, my aunt I guess, she had showed up. But she wasn't angry like the rest of the family. She thanked me even... I'd hate to know what that man did to his sister to make her thank his son for killing him... Mom still talks to her from time to time, so maybe she knows... maybe they talk and sympathize with each other... Hopefully so. Mom needs more friends.  I saw one old photo of my mom, she was in high school I think.  She was posing next to this nerdy black girl in full gyaru get up. Nothing like the lowly house wife my so called father turned her into. I hope she dresses like that again, she looked pretty. And extremely happy.                                                            "Alright kid." He spoke suddenly, handing me a piece of paper. "This is her address. I called her so she knows you're coming". I took the paper, nodding. "Thanks". "It's nothing... I'm actually interested in this little search of yours" he said, sitting down. "I think your the first person in this family to question our species and actually act on the desire to find out.". "Really?.. Well let's hope I find something..." I said, standing up and going to the door. "Be safe. Come back home alive Pink." He said. "Yeah yeah!" I responded, waving as I walked out the door. "How'd it go?" Coffee said. "Well apparently Amara's well alive..." I said walking to the car with her. "What? How?" She questioned. "Don't know.. But maybe it has something to do with what we are..." I Said and she nodded in agreement. I hopped into the car next to Kave smiling. "Anyways, he gave me an address." I said, handing it to Marxyn. "More driving?... Should've stayed home..." Kave complained. "And stared at a wall all day?" I grinned, leaning on him. He pushed at my face, grumbling. "Would've been better than dealing with you!" He yelled and I just laughed.
