Hande and Kerem always stuck together, whether it was in school or just anywhere they ended up together. Their parents have always been friends with each other, even before they were born, and as they got older, they watched how they got along. Even though it was their dream that they were together one day, they also wanted it to happen on their own if it did. Hande always followed him around, and he didn't really mind it. Taking care of her made him feel like a big boy, and he never ever felt embarrassed to have her around. They stuck together throughout all their years together until one day everything suddenly changed.

They never expected this day to come, and to say it's the worst thing they faced ever was an understatement. Since they lived practically next to each other, they would spend all day at school together and then not even 2 hours later they find each other outside again. Today, for some reason after they got home from school, kerem never ended up coming outside. At first she thought that maybe he was stressed with school, he was stuck inside. Since he was older than her by a year, she didn't really know what school looked for him. He had exams, and she didn't yet as she wasn't in high school yet. She was also surprised that he didn't leave a message because usually if something comes up they let each other know almost immediately and if they don't, their parents tell each other anyways so everyone knows what's going on. What she didn't know was that he was facing the worst thing ever by himself at home..

Kerem was listening to his parents explain to him that they are moving abroad soon. At first he didn't believe them because they have spoken about it before but it was never serious and he thought that if they do move it will be when he's out of the house already living his own life. When the conversation was over, he rushed to his room and just cried for many hours by himself. He didn't even have the strength to tell the news yet. And during the time he spent in his ro, m he was thinking and thinking about whawouldll happen to them. Although they are this close now, who knows what distance will do to them because apparently when he leav, s it would be at least 4 years before they come back again.

Hande decided to just do her homework and watch a show if he still didn't come while she was busy. It was alreadnighttimeme when he stood by her window ready to close everything for the night and go to b, d and she just looked out one more time before actually closing up. She saw him walking towards her husse and got excited that even though it was a few hours lat, r he still came. When he came , n she could see that something was wrong with h, m and the only time he really looked like that was when he wanted to say somethi, g but hdidn'tnt know h, w and she became worried.

"Hande there's something very important i need to talk to you about"

"First are you ok? You seem tense. But i'm ready to listen to whatever it is"

"I don't know what to feel since finding this out, but hey, i'm here now, and i'm going to tell you, and maybe you can help me"

Kerem continues

"We're moving abroad for the next 4 years, it's something I heard my parents talk about once in a while but I never paid attention because whenever they spoke about it before, they said it would be them moving in with me as I'll be old enough already here. I'm not sure how long they know about it, but in a way, i'm glad they told me now and not a month before leaving"

"I can't believe you're leaving. Even though it's not your voice, it's still hard for me to accept it. I'm sure that they are doing this to build an even better life for you. Maybe this will help us grow even more. I honestly didn't expect you to come here tonight with such news. I thought that maybe you were studying a little longer today and forgot to leave a message. I guess you're right, at least you know now already and not only a month before you go so you can sort of prepare yourself"
