chapter 6

Keaving for america

The day they dreaded was here. To say they are sad and emotional was an understatement. Even after coming back from the most amazing vacation of their life, it all came crashing down when reality hit that they were going into a long distance for a really long time. That night and the morning of his departure, they both had really hard conversations with each other and their parents.

Kerems parents

“Come son, let's have a chat”

“Yeah yeah im coming”

“My son, we know that it's been hard for you to accept that we're leaving our life behind here after so many years. We know you know that we're doing this for a better life for all of us. It's going to be hard for all of us to get used to it all. It will take a lot from all of us and especially you to adapt to everything but I'm sure that everything will work out eventually. We're very upset to take you away from everything you know but I'm sure one day when your mucholder you might understand it more. You are a strong man, and everything that you want in life, despite all this, will still be out waiting for and working hard for will worth it all. Even though we haven't left yet, I know that the time will pass by quickly, especially as you're almost in your last years of school, and you'll be focused on that.”

“I'm scared that going long distances will cause issues for me and hand. We can barely go a week without seeing each other. What if I do something there out of anger from missing her and regret it? I know I am responsible, but I also know that my anger has no limit whenever it surfaces.”

“Things will only go wrong if that's what you put out to the world. It may be hard at first, but over time, everyone everythingwolf workout. Life sometimes has these tough spots, but at the end of the day, everything works.”

Hades parents

“Hande, my dear. We know you're upset that he's leaving, but everything will go well for you guys eventually. Things will get easier over time, and you guys will figure it out. I'm sure this won't affect your guys' relationship.”

Soon after, Kerem and them came over. It was time to say their final goodbyes. A lot of tears and reasunce were said during that time. He took her up to her room to talk one on one.

“Baby you're ok, right?”

“Yes I am, I'm just nervous for you and your new life ahead of you. What if one day you get sick of the distance and find someone new. I would never survive that.”

“Hey, don't say that, you are and always will be the girl for me. What we're going to go through these next years are just obstacles in order for us to live an even better life one day after high school. The same way you're sad and all I am, too. But after talking to my parents, I realized that the only way things can and will go wrong for us is if we put it out that way. You know i love you and will always love you”

A lot of promises were made that morning. And they were kept until they weren't.

It was time for them to head to the airport. Hande cried in his arms the whole way to the airport. He was almost dripping from the amount of tears they both shed on the way. Luckily, he kept an extra shirt with him and changed quickly.

Everyone hugged and said their goodbyes, with many many tears. It was a very emotional day for everyone despite all promises made and the comfort they gave each other it was just sad to see them go and leave them behind.

“I love you hande, and i will always love you. I don't know how long the flight is but I'll text you as soon as I get there. Take care of yourself here, and I miss you already.”
