A month past, Amaira refused to talk to anymore callers which made Amelia confused. She asked her everyday about it but she dismissed the topic. But, everything has to be revealed one day or another. "What is it that is bothering you, dear sister" The Eldest Du Pon was at the brake of tears. "I'm sorry" She buried her face into Amelia's neck.
"What is bothering you?" She repeated. "Lord Bellingham, he forced me" She cried. "I said no, I screamed and fought back but" Amelia's mouth was left agape. "I forbade you from visiting him!" She shouted. "I loved him, he didn't love me, I'm sorry" Amaira fell to her knees.
"Forgive me, your highness" She mocked her younger sister's status. "Amaira, this is highly unlikely of you. I will go fetch you a doctor"
"You will do no such thing, I cannot bear the shame of being labelled as 'used'. Please, don't speak of this again" She begged. "Alright, but you will not be attending this courting season"
