Two years past, Amaira was now twenty-three while Amelia was only twenty. Two years as Queen reminded her that she was now not Amelia but Queen Du Pon. Lord Bellingham had been forced to leave town and Lady Whistledown had laid low ever since the announcement of her new position. She hadn't made many friends, only business partners. And that was all she needed for now, that's what she told herself.

Amaira had gotten married last season after convincing Amelia to let her participate. She was now pregnant with the child of Benedict Bridgerton. And now, Amelia lived alone in the huge palace. No one to keep her company. She often invited her sister over for tea but refused going to hers.

Amelia was now being pressured into marriage. She was twenty and in need of a husband. To get away from the suffocating ways of the world, she accepted her sister's invitation to join her at her home. Finally meeting the rest of the family, her in-laws. Amelia was, of course, right on time. The gates were pushed open while the family stood in front of her.

Amelia rushed towards her elder sister. "Amaira, I have missed you quite a lot" She hugged her right back. "Me too" Amaira hugged back. "Lovely to make your acquaintance, Queen Du Pon" The Viscount greeted her. "Same here, how's your wife, Kate?" She asked, gesturing towards the empty spot next to him. "Well, Kate is occupied with our lovely children"

The tea with the family went quiet well, no one commented on her being unwed and no patriarchy in sight. The family had now dispersed, wondering around the building, doing their own thing. Amelia was now sat on a bench in the garden, finally escaped from her maid. Taking in the beauty of the nature. "Hello there" Her time was now interrupted.

"What is it?" She turned to face Gregory Bridgerton. "Just wanted to see if you'd be up for a game of fence" He tossed her a fencing stick. "Challenging a Queen?" She sassed. "I'm challenging my sister-in-law" He corrected. "I don't duel" She let the stick fall to the ground. "Well, we can just sit and talk to each other then"

"I heard courting season's coming up" He smirked. "You've heard correct" She sat down on the bench. "Well, I wanted to get to know you better" The lie in his words were evident. "Get to the point" He gulped. "My mother has been pressuring me to marry since I rejected every girl last few seasons. And you're being pressured to find a King"

"Are you suggesting a sham wedding?" She asked. "Yes" He replied, blatantly. It was kind of perfect, they had to spend the next week pretending they were perfect and then they were to be married. As easy as that. "Fine" She quickly agreed. "We act as if we're in love for the week, and by the end of it we make sure we get caught alone in the garden they'll have no choice but to marry us to each other"

"Brilliant" He muttered, running a hand through is red hair. "I'll see you tomorrow, m'lady"
