Back in her suite, jannah was in her room, sorting out the stuff she bought. She was admiring her new brand new kicks. Sneakers were definitely one of her motivations to be rich. She was almost through sorting them in her suitcase and not her wardrobe, she'll be leaving in a few days so there's no point in arranging them in the wardrobe and then taking them out to arrange them in the suitcase again. It's just stress, and who likes stress?
She was done with everything, then noticed a black shopping bag on the other side of her bed and realised it was the bag that contained the stuff she got for jafar. He has done so much nice stuff for her. It's only fair if she does something nice for him, too. Honestly, the past few days with him have been amazing. She couldn't believe the fact that she had an actual friend. Someone to look forward to talking to aside from her mom, someone to crack her up, make her smile, feel wanted and special, and above all loved. She cherished what they had. But it's not like he's ever going to hear this....................well, not yet.
"Should I give them to him now?" She contemplated - while holding the bag - because it was nighttime already. It was around 9 pm. It contained a pair of black sweats, with a matching black hoodie with white splashes, a black and white p-cap, and black sneakers. Yes, she got a whole set. She loved the outfits. She had no doubt they'd look great on him.
She just decided to give it to him and head back. She came out of her room and made way to his. The door was opened after the second knock. "Hi, J. What brings you here? Come in." He said with a charming smile.
"Nah, no need, I just stopped by to give you this." She replied, raising the bag in her hand to his line of sight. He gave her an incredulous look but collected the bag nonetheless.
"What's in there?" Jafar asked, with a raised brow, which made jannah roll her eyes. "Open and see."
"Okay, but isn't it weird standing here by the door? Just come in."
"Bro, it's not appropriate for us to in your suite alone."
"Ohh, yeah, right, right. Let's sit in the hallway, toh. We're the only ones on this floor anyway." Jafar wisely suggested.
"Sure, sure." She replied, and jafar went into his suite and got a blanket to spread on the floor so they're comfortable.
"Have a sit, mi lady." He bowed a bit, and jannah let out a small laugh and played along. "Why, thank you, kind sir." She replied and courtesied, then made herself comfortable on the blanket, and so did jafar. They were sitting beside each other.
"Now, what did my Jannah get me?" Jafar said, and jannah urged him to open it. And he did.
"J, I love them. Thank you." He said after going through the bag. His voice held so much emotion and a genuine smile on his face.
"It's the least I could do after making you shop for 3 and half hours. It's fine." Jannah replied with a smile as genuine as his.
"I got you something too, I hope you like it." He reached into his hoodie's pocket and brought out a small black box. It contained a necklace, it was a simple silver chained necklace, with a small black heart pendant. And a little J encrusted behind the heart. It was so cute!
"Jaf, you didn't have to..." She started, but he cut her off, saying, "Yes, I did."
"C'monn..." She started, and he cut her off yet again. "Just shut up and take it, jannah." He didn't wait for her reply. He took it out of the box, unhooked it, and put it around her neck. There are no rooms for protest.
"It looks great on you. I have great taste."
"You just had to be cocky about it." She rolled her eyes. "But you're right, it is great. Thank you." She added and gave him a smile.
