Sometimes Kurt wishes he could just move out. But the rent is too expensive in New York. He doesn't hate living in the loft. He, of course, doesn't hate his best friends. If only they were a little more quiet. Not just as a couple but in general. Laughing here, screaming there and singing. Practicing for classes at NYADA. But hello?! He has to practice and study too.

It's not the first time that he searches for peace in the library. He likes the library. It's not too loud, a café is directly next door and everything he needs in one place. But he hates to take the subway 20 minutes one way. After a long study session he just wants to lay down in bed and read a good book, listening to music or watch something.

After a subway ride to the library with a pit stop to pick up some coffee the chestnut haired man enters the library and sits down at a free table. For a moment he looks around. The window on his left and book shelves on his right. The staircase behind him so he doesn't get distracted by too many people and in front of him a cozy reading corner.

If only he could just sit there. Besides one other person it's completely empty. The person is a young man. Maybe his age? Sitting on an arm chair, holding the book in his hands while his mind is in a completely different dimension. Kurt sighs and takes out his notebook and his music history book. He puts on his headphones and turns on his study playlist quietly before he opens the book and starts his study session.

Blaine flinches when his phone starts to vibrate in his pocket. He was so into his book. What time is it? "Seb?" he takes the call and hears his best friend answer in a very guilty voice "Hi Blainers". "What did you do?" the curly haired man asks immediately. "I may or may not forgot my keys at home. I wanted to make us some lunch. Can you come home and open the door?" the other man asks.

"If I run I still get the subway. I'll be there in 15 minutes" Blaine answers. He ends the call and jumps up. Quickly he leaves the building, running to the subway station once he's outside. Right before the doors close he squeezes in, sighing in relieve that he still made it.

"I swear some day you will go out naked because you forgot to put on clothes" Blaine greets his best friend who jumps up at the voice "You're my hero". "Yeah. But while you make lunch I'll be in the living room and continue reading". "I will never get your nerdy obsession with the library and books" the younger man answers while they both go in.

"You don't have to get it" Blaine answers and leans back on the couch, wanting to take his book out of his bag. "Hey did I come back with my bag?" he asks but the other man shakes his head "Why?". "Damn. I hurried so much that I forgot my bag in the library. I guess I'll go back after lunch and ask at the lost and found department" the curly haired man says and turns on the tv instead.

With a yawn Kurt closes his book again. Enough studying for now. He needs another coffee, some lunch and a break. He'll just go to the café next door and eat there. The young man opens his bag and puts his notebook and book back in but before he can stand up he spots a bag.

Wait, Kurt remembers, there was someone sitting there earlier. Kurt didn't realized that the man left but he must've forgotten his bag. Short-handed Kurt stands up and takes the bag. Maybe he can find out who it belongs to? First he finds a book. The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo. It looks like it's been read a hundred times. A bit deeper he finds a wallet. With a smile Kurt opens it and sees the ID of the owner.

His smile fades when he realizes that he must look like a thief. He should've brought the bag to lost and found immediately but now that he got the ID he can just return it himself. He needs a break anyways. Who knows when this man comes back to get it. That's why Kurt shrugs it off and looks at the ID.
