When Paths Cross

Epilogue

Two years later:

It was pure luck that Blaines graduation was a day before Kurts. Now they can go to each others graduation ceremony. Of course Rachel and Santana went with Kurt to Blaines and Sebastians and now Blaine and Sebastian are at NYADA to see Rachel, Santana and Kurt graduate.

Over the past two years the group of five developed a friendship that involves karaoke, game and movie nights, wine, cooking and making fun of Kurt and Blaine because they have their nose in their books so often or are at the library. The library still is one of their favorite places. Since three months the group grew as one more person became part of the chaotic group. Sebastians boyfriend Hunter. He's cool and just as chaotic as they all are. A perfect fit.

Over the Christmas holidays, a bit more than a year ago Kurt and Blaine decided to go to Lima and spend Christmas with Burt, not even bothering to tell Blaines parents that he's in town. It was their first Christmas together and they loved it, promising to do the same the year after.

Then Burt got another heart attack. Of course Kurt went to Lima as fast as he could and of course Blaine came with him. After that Kurt decided to do the 6 month internship he has to do for NYADA in Lima, in his old glee club, to be with his dad while he recovers. Kurt and Blaine both knew that being long distance isn't the same but they also knew that it's the right decision. They managed these 6 months well.

But now they are both done with studying. Last month Blaine got offered a teaching position at a middle school with the major in lecture and music so after the summer holidays he can start. Kurt started to go to auditions but because of his finals he could hardly focus in them yet and hasn't get any parts yet. But he has a few more scheduled and they seem really promising.

It's tradition at NYADA that the graduates perform something at the ceremony. Everyone in their major. Blaine saw Santana dance before but now with the others on stage it looked magical. Rachel was in acting and played one of the lead roles, able to draw all the attention on her with her performance.

Then a group of singers goes on stage. Kurt one of them and as soon as he starts to sing the tears collect in Blaines eyes. It's not a sad song, the opposite actually. It's happy. But Kurts voice just does things with Blaine that he can't describe. Every time. He loves to hear Kurt sing and to sing with him but this, now, the end of college, on that stage, it's just so special.

"Sweetie you were amazing" Blaine greets his boyfriend after the ceremony and kisses him happily. "He cried" Sebastian comments dryly before turning around to talk and congratulate Santana and Rachel. "Of course you did" Kurt laughs "But I love you". "I love you too" the curly haired man answers.

"I have news. Great news if you want it to be" Kurt then says "The girls found an apartment and there's another one in the same building. The loft gets too expensive and it would be perfect. Not far away from the library and the subway leads to the park". "It's free and not too expensive?" Blaine asks in disbelieve. The landlord of the loft raised the rent again and the three friends really started to struggle so they started to search for a new place or preferably for two and Blaine helped, wanting nothing more than to move in with his boyfriend. Could this moment be it? Kurt nods "So what do you say? Do you want to move in with me?". "I would love to" Blaine answers and hugs the other man tightly.

"I love you so much" he adds and Kurt smiles "I love you too honey" before pressing his lips on Blaines.
