** Maya has been able to go up and down the stairs and sleep in her room with Carina , so no one is sleeping in the mattress downstairs, but it's still there for the day , when Maya feels the need to lay down, and it will be perfect for when she has her ideal home birth, when she's going to be able to labour anywhere she wants to. In the comfort of her own home, wife only her wife to reassure her and hold her hand and take care of her while Addison will be the designated obgyn , just like She was when Chloe was born. **

Maya : wait , how come I am still six months pregnant, shouldn't I have her in October?
Carina: hrmmmmm what? Babe it's literally three in the morning...
Maya : yea I know, but it's my turn to not be able to sleep... help me understand pregnancy in months and weeks... Please?
Carina: fine , so we went in the first week of December of last year.
Maya : yea I remember that, it was December 6 th 2023 !
Carina: exactly, and technically a full pregnancy is 43 weeks, which brings you to the first week of October...
But you can deliver her between 36 weeks and 43 weeks!
Which is basically mid September to early October... it's.. I know it's confusing but follow what the app says on your phone babe! What does it say?
Maya : well right now it says that I'm twenty seven weeks!
Carina: exactly and by the time the first week of October comes you'll be forty three weeks pregnant which is literally the maximum weeks pregnant... everything is perfect!
Are you reassured that everything is going according to how it's supposed to?
** she looks at her wife and gently puts her hands on her wife's face **
Maya : yes ! I am , thank you for reassuring me!! I'm sorry I woke you up..
Carina: it's fine! I was up with Nicco several minutes ago.
**Maya was feeling anxious so she went in their closet and took her Gecko anxiety stuffed animal out , that Carina bought her three years ago... because maya had bought her wife a anxiety stuffed animal, a bear, when carina was dealing with ptsd from the shooting incident at the hospital.... and went back to sleep with her gecko in her arms....**
Carina: mr gecko is back?
Maya: yeah... I got your mr bear down from his spot if you ever need him nearby.
Carina : okay thanks... do you want to talk about it?
Maya: later I will... I'm just really exhausted... but I love you.
Carina: okay... I love you too babe.
** Maya and carina both fell back asleep within seconds of putting their heads down on their pillows... and they slept in that day... they really needed that extra sleep.***

**Carina has been up with niccolas for a while now... she's playing patty cake with him as he is sitting on her lap and he's babbling away back at her... grandma made everyone breakfast... eggs and toast with fresh fruit in everyone's plate... Maya eventually wakes up...Today Niccolas has a cute white shirt with coloured race cars all over it and beige shorts that match the race car shirt. He looks pretty cute. He never liked wearing shoes... but today he is tolerating them , they are white shoes. **
Hrmmmm good morning my love, how did you sleep last night?
Carina: ohhh hiiiii bambina, I hope we weren't being too loud? I just woke up and so did this little guy... And I slept good and you?
Maya: hiiii nicco.... I slept okay... Charlotte kept waking me up and I think she's now sideways... her head is tilted downward but she's not in the right position for delivery... which I know it's three months away... and she keeps kicking me so hard.... All the way in my ribs... hopefully she will be head down and in the correct position for a natural delivery...
Carina: I can try to make her move in the right direction if you want me to...
Maya: uhh yeah let's do that later... I'm really hungry...
Carina: yea I'm hungry too... let's go see what your mom made for breakfast today...
