No POV

After he and Taurus Gorefield finally managed to figure out what the clue in finding the first note actually meant by how the clown hid it behind a particularly familiar painting, Y/n had to take a trip down on memory lane as he traveled through his pocket dimension that can also allow him to access through his memories from his previous adventures as he landed back at Jon's house before the destruction on the entire planet during Y/n's encounter with Gorefield.

In the memory, where Jon was hiding behind the TV from Gorefield with the Shotgun in his hands, Y/n noticed a piece of paper sticking out from under a portrait of Odie, which Y/n grabbed it, and it turns out that is the note that he's looking for as he teleported back to Arlene to give her the note that he managed to find for her to read to find the next note.

Y/n: Arlene? You still there? I have returned with the note I just found.

Arlene then woke up from her nap to find Y/n back with the note that he managed to find as she is happy to see Y/n again.

Arlene: Oh, you're back and you brought the note you just found.

Y/n: Yep. I told you I kept my promise to find those notes for you.

Arlene: May I see it?

Y/n: Sure. (Hands her the note) Here you go.

Y/n handed her the note as she recognized it as the note that is also the clown's joke that she mentioned earlier.

Arlene: Oh! It's the clown's joke that I mentioned earlier!

Y/n: Really? What does it say?

Arlene: I don't know. Let's see.

She then began to read the note as we see a thought bubble of the clown that is also her kidnapper that locked her in the jail cell, she's in right now as the clown, better known as Binky the Clown wrote the note that is for Y/n on where to find the next note for him to obtain.

Binky the Clown: (Narrating) 'Dear Y/n L/n aka Cat Boy! Are you aware about the cat and the mouse joke? The more jokes there are, the more cheesy they get. The more cheese there is, the more mice. The more mice, the more Binky there is! HahahaHAhA!'

Arlene: Well, that's the end of that note. Not really that funny if you ask me...

Y/n: I agree. That clown really needs to work on his jokes a little more to make his audience laugh.

Arlene: True, but the part where he called you a Cat Boy was kinda funny. I mean, you gotta be the least the cat if you are the Son of Godfield.

Y/n: Oh yeah, I understand what you mean by that. I actually do have a cat form, but I mostly used my human form when I'm not interacting with anyone including you.

Arlene: Oh, I see. (Sees something else on the note) Hold on, the note also says that if you don't get the joke, you can check the back of it.

Y/n: Wow. How original. What does it say on the back of the note?

Arlene: Hmm? Let's see...It mentions how you've been selected to be his 'playmate' and that you will have a wonderful reward if you continue playing.

Y/n: His playmate? That's one way to get me to play his scavenger hunt game just to win a reward that is 100% bad news for the both of us.

Arlene: You're telling me. There's even a drawing of me in this note's reward. It doesn't exactly capture my feminine essence if you ask me. (Shows Y/n the drawing of her)

Y/n: Oh yeah, that doesn't look anything like you...Oh wait! I think we're already off topic here.

Arlene: Oh yeah, sorry about that. (Continues reading the note) It also mentions that you'll need to know 4 numbers in order to free me and since you managed to find the first note, you have just earned the first number on this note.

Y/n: 4 number, huh? Interesting. It sounds like a code to unlock this cage, judging by this 4-digit lock to this cage, so I guess I need to find the other notes in order to free you and since I got the note with the first number, we are this close to getting you out of this prison.

Arlene: That's wonderful!!! I better get into the specifics of this number then.

It says that the first number is the last digit of today's day. Y/n, if I were you, I'd probably write this down somewhere.

Y/n: Good idea. (Summons a notepad and pencil then writes down the first clue to the first code of the lock) It's gonna take some real brain power to figure this out, but I'm sure I'll get the first code to the lock in no time.

Arlene: Great! (Remember something) Oh yeah! While you were away to find the note or whatever you were doing, the clown had commented on seeing the same blue dwarf with a very cool cat, a not so cute anymore kind of cat and a lazy skeleton.

Y/n: Did he then? Did the clown say anything else on what he commented on?

Arlene: Not much. He didn't really specify much on what he meant, besides the fact that the area was in a snowy biome and the note is hidden in a pine tree.

Y/n: Snowy biome and in a pine tree, eh? It doesn't explain clearly why he would hide the note in a pine tree somewhere in a snowy biome, but I'll figure that one out eventually. I mean, the pine tree wouldn't even be decorated for Christmas.

Arlene: I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually, I still have faith in you, Y/n. I hope to see you again soon, my savior.

Y/n: Me too and just to make sure you stay warm in that cell. (Creates a white and yellow cloak that fits her and some more food and water) This will keep you warm and cozy, so you won't freeze to death in that jail cell. It should be big enough for you to fit in.

Arlene: Wow. Thanks, Y/n. This will definitely keep me warm here. Good luck on finding the next note. I'm counting on it.

Y/n: Don't worry, Arlene. I won't stop until I find that note and when I do, I'll come back here to see what the next step is to free you. I'll see you later, Arlene.

With that, Y/n teleported out of the darkness once again, leaving Arlene alone again as she very much enjoyed his company and hopes to see him again once he finds the next note. But then, she began thinking about Y/n once again and could not shake the thoughts of him no matter how much she tried to stop these thoughts about Y/n as she put on the cloak that is the perfect fit for her and the cold feeling all over her body went away and was replaced with a warm and cozy feeling as the material is keeping her warm from the cold feeling of the cage she's trapped in.

Arlene: Be careful out there, my savior. It's a dangerous world out there and I know you have the power of dealing with it, especially on a Bad Monday...
