Trigger warning:
This day contains mentions of implied suicide, weapons, and blood

Charlie screamed as she ran out of the hotel, trying to calm herself down. The memories of last night are still fresh in her mind.
"It, it can't be."

she looked outside to see Lute standing in front of the hotel.
"Lute!"

Charlie stood there shocked.
"Is it true?"
Lute walked closer to Charlie before she suddenly dropped her Speer.

"What do you want!"
Charlie bounced back, looking worried.

"Charlie, answer the question."
Lute seemed to be punishing Charlie for telling her the truth.

"Princess, the truth."
Lute's voice became stricter and more firm.
"Prinses!"

Charlie stood there shaking, as she had no idea what Lute was here for, was she here to harm her or Emily? Did she need to get Vaggie's body back to heaven? Or just maybe she was there to have Mercy? Charlie's voice softened before she spoke,
"It's true."

It was like she got stabbed in the heart. Lute just fell to the ground, barely keeping it together.
"NO"
Lute stuttered out.

Charlie looked at her, confused. She was still under the impression that Lute hated Vaggie.
"Lute?"

Charlie Gently came closer to Lute, reaching her hand out to the now-crying angel. lute pushed her hand away as she growled.
"I'm not fully heartless, you know."
Lute looked up at Charlie as her eyes slowly shifted into a more saddened look. She looked down at her feet, then at her hands, and back at her feet.
"I'm sorry."

2 words Charlie never expected to ever come out of Lute's mouth,
" Why?"

The angel didn't answer. She was too busy moping to even hear this one-word question. Emily watched through the window as she saw Lute coming closer and closer to the hotel. She looked so sad and grey. It was almost like she was genuinely hurt. Emily looked at Lute completely in shock she had no idea what was happening. What was going on? Was Lute sad? Was it just a trick? Emily sat there shocked.

"Charlie, what is -"
but the seraphim couldn't even answer, or Lute had already spotted Vaggie's body.
"VAGGIE, she's actually"
Lute sounded a little happy, which concerned Emily, who had walked over to Charlie by now. Lute scuffed at the idea of having any mercy,

"she doesn't deserve mercy,"
Lute thought to herself.
"She deserved this,"

words lute would eat in a few minutes. As she turned around, she saw Charlie and Emily staring at her with big angry eyes.

"What did you just say?"
the small seraphim had enough of being quiet. She walked closer to Lute and looked deep into her eyes.
"What did you just say."

This worried the angel just enough for her to step backward and fall over Vaggie's speer.
"W-what,"

she studdered she got up.
"It's covered in blood."

Lute suddenly let out a scream,

"Lute, what happened."
Charlie and Emily ran over to her, helping her up, but Lute pushed them away.

"I'm fine,"
Lute growled.
"It's nothing."

she stood up and looked back at Vaggie,
"What happened to her."

Nobody answered neither Charlie nor Emily had a thing to say.
