Chapter #04: Confusion

(Third person's POV)

Cleio's been thinking about what paul said earlier. As she turns around in her bed being so restless because she is very confused if she's attracted to a girl. Not just a normal girl, a popular, idolized, pretty, talented, and most importantly a player.

(Cleio's POV)

Why the heck am I getting attracted to a girl? Am I just confused or really inlove? I don't what to do anymore...

After thinking too much, she got tired and fell asleep.

Her alarm suddenly started ringing, so she turned it off. She stand up and got asked by kay.

"Clei, you okay?" said kay. "Not really, I didn't get much sleep because i'm so confused right now"said cleio. "What's the problem, clei?" kay asked. "I'm just so confused whether i'm really attracted to paige or not, she's the only one who gave me that tingly feeling in the stomach, it's like fireworks popped inside me. I feel really nervous yet so happy when I'm around her. She made me feel different... No, she made me feel special" cleio answered. "Girl, don't tell me that you're inlove with that player? Don't get fooled by her actions. Remember she made a lot of girls cry because she played them. If I were you, I would be careful so I won't get hurt at the end" kay said.

(Time skip: at the school grounds)

(Cleio's POV)

I was walking on the school grounds to head to the library. I need to study for our upcoming test. Then suddenly, a hand covered my eyes. Her scent was really familiar, it's like a vanilla perfume.

I know that scent... It was paige's perfume. Once I knew who it was, my hand got sweaty and a bit cold. My whole body froze, and my mind went blank.

I heard a laugh at my back.

"Paige, is that you?" I asked. "Yes" paige answered then chuckled.

"Where are you heading?"paige asked. "To the library, to study for the upcoming test" I answered. "Yow, I was heading there too. Let's study together" said paige. "Uhm, I not really sure about that" I responded.

Because I know that if I'm with her, I won't be able to focus. But she insisted, so I gave in.

"Let me help you carry those things, they look heavy" paige offered. "I can do it, thanks" I said. "Let me help you, cleio" paige insisted.

And then she suddenly grab the things i'm holding, and smirked at me. We both laughed, and headed to the library.

While we're reading, I often caught her staring at me with those blue eyes of hers. It's as beautiful as the ocean, her ocean eyes... I get nervous everytime we make eye contact.

"Paige, don't look at me like that" I said. "Like what?" she asked. "Nothing" I answered.

After we're done studying, she offered me a ride home which I gladly accepted.

While we're in the car, she asked for my snap account. So I gave my username to her.

When we got to the dorm, she said"Goodbye, pretty girl. See ya around" then winked. I was speechless by what she said.
