Chapter #09: Reunited

(Third person's POV)

Paige woke up to nika's scream, nika and kk tried waking up paige. Paige opened her eyes, and she was very shocked as well.

"It's so early, why are you guys so loud?" paige asked.

"Wake up right now!" nika shouted.

Paige opened her eyes...

"The fuck, what are you doing here?" paige asked.

I'll study here now, I'll also go to the basketball teams try out, so the four of us can be together" azzi answered.

Paige, nika, kk, and azzi are childhood best friends. Unfortunately, only paige, nika, and kk got to the same college. Azzi went to a different school since her father was assigned in an another state, but azzi forced her dad to let her study at the same school as her best friends; at UConn. After a bit of forcing, her dad gave in. Now that they're reunited, they're gonna be at the same basketball team.

Azzi hugged paige.

"Bro, it's been a year since we last saw each other, I've missed you all so much" said azzi as she hugs paige.

"This was such a surprise, missed you too" said paige.

"Where are you gonna stay?" paige added.

"At nika's, since she doesn't have a room mate yet" azzi answered.

"That's perfect!" paige said.

"You got a girl now?" azzi asked jokingly.

"Nah" paige answered.

"Really, paige?" kk teasingly asked.

"Shut up" said paige to kk followed by a chuckle.

(Time skip: At the cafeteria)

Paige is with kk, nika, and azzi. Nika stood up to get an order. Azzi and kk decided to go with nika to the counter, and left paige alone at the table.

As paige sat at the table alone, she saw cleio with paul and kay, they're talking. She got mad that paul is with her again, but still smiled at cleio. But, cleio just ignored her and continued walking.

(Cleio's POV)

I miss paige so much, but she scared me. I don't even know why she got so mad, I didn't even do anything wrong for her to act that way.

As I was walking to the cafeteria with kay and paul, I saw paige. I badly want to walk up to her and hug her so tight, but I don't think that I can trust her anymore.

She smiled at me, but kay told me to ignore her, so I did. I ignored her and just continued walking, I felt so bad for what I did.

We sat across paige's table. When kk and nika saw me, they greeted me, and I greeted them back.

"Hello, cleio!" said both by nika and kk.

"Hello!" I said.

My eyes suddenly locked with paige's eyes, but a girl suddenly sat beside her. She wasn't familiar to me. I suddenly lost my mood because of that.
