Chapter #08: Jealous

(Cleio's POV)

I'm with paul because he needs a favor. After he said what his favor is, he then gave me something. He hugged and thanked me as well. I saw paige walking towards me, so I called her.

"Paige!" I exclaimed loudly.

She just smiled and nodded, then she turned her back and walked to the direction opposite of mine.

I was left puzzled by her action because whenever we see each other, she always run up to me and hug me. But now, she just turned her back on me. Her action kinda made me sad, and I don't know why. I don't know if I did anything wrong to make her upset.

(Paige's POV)

"I'm so excited that I'll see cleio again, I've been waiting to see her since yesterday. I miss her a lot." said paige to herself.

As I was walking towards cleio to hug and talk to her, I saw that she's with her friend; it was paul. He talked to her for some time, and gave cleio something. The worst part is he hugged her. Paul hugged cleio!

So I stopped walking towards her, but then she saw and called me. I just smiled and turned around, because for some reason, what they did somewhat infuriated me.

I know that their relationship with each other is very strong and they're really close, but why the heck am I feeling jealous? I can't feel jealous, we ain't even dating.

(Time skip: At the campus grounds)

(Cleio's POV)

I am with paul again. We're at the school grounds. We're seating at the bench to take a rest. He made a joke that's hella funny, and it made me laugh so hard.

I looked around then saw paige heading in our direction. She got frown on her face. I sense that something bad's gonna happen.

All of a sudden, she grabbed my arm so hard that it made me whimper.

"Ouch, paige!" I told her.

"Go with me right now" said paige as the tone of her voice go up.

"Where are we gonna go?" I asked as I try to remove her grip in my arm.

"Just go with me" paige answered.

"No, and let go of my arm" I said.

"Didn't you hear her? She said let go" paul said with his fist closed.

"Stay out of this" said paige.

"I'm her best friend, why would I stay out of this? And you're clearly hurting her, so let go before something bad happens." Paul said as he pushed paige's hand.

"Sorry, clei. I didn't mean to do that" paige apologized.

"What's wrong with you, paige?" I asked.

Before paige could answer my question,  paul suddenly grabbed my arm and told me that we should leave the place. I agreed with him since I was a bit frightened by what paige did.

Her action made me unpleasant, she literally frightened me.

As we're walking to head home, I looked back at paige to see what's she's doing; she looked at me with a regret and tears in her eyes.

When paul and I got to my dorm room, I spilled all the tea to kay.

"Girl, I told you that's she's a red flag" said kay.

"Indeed! Cleio always want to get hurt" said paul.

"I thought that she'll treat me right, but I was mistaken. I should've listened to ya'll" I said.

(Paige's POV)

Shit, what have I done? I shouldn't have done that. I frightened her. Why the heck does she always need to be that shitty guy's side? I fucking hate it when I get jealous.

I'll tell nika and kk all about this tomorrow morning. I'll also make it up to cleio, I'll apologize to her. I won't leave her until she forgives me. I just hope that fucking guy won't be with her tomorrow.
