Chapter #06: Pretend

(Paige's POV)

Last night was a blast, I had so much fun with cleio. She made me felt ecstatic, she's the first one who made me feel this way. I just hope that she doesn't remember the kiss.

(Third person's POV)

Last night, paige carried cleio to the car because she was so drunk. Only paige and cleio are in the car since kay is finding nika and kk to let them know that they're about to go home. They're both at the front seat. Paige looked at cleio and admired her angelic face.

All of a sudden paige got the urge to kiss cleio. Paige pulled her in, grabbed her waist, and put her hand in her cheek. She slowly leaned in her face, she closed her eyes, and then their lips touched.

Paige felt a spark. Cleio kissed her back, but unexpectedly the car door opened... It was kk. Good thing that nika and kay are still at the house. Kk saw what happened and asked paige what is happening.

"Bro, what the fuck are you doing?" kk asked. "Shush, don't ever tell this to anyone. Just pretend you never saw nothing. She's drunk so she probably won't remember that this happened, and besides she's probably straight" paige answered. "Treat me to chick-fil-a tomorrow so I won't snitch" kk said jokingly. "Fine, just shut your mouth and keep what you saw a secret" said paige.

When nika and kay got to the car they helped paige to put cleio at the back seat since she passed out from being so drunk. Kk acted like she saw nothing and went for the front seat. Nika and kay at are the back seat, and kay is beside cleio to help her seat properly.

When they arrived at the dorm, paige insisted to help kay to carry cleio to way up. But, paul is already waiting down there.

"Guys, you should get up already because I'll still help cleio to go up" said paige to both nika and kk. "Okay" kk and nika said as they excused their selves to go up already. "Paige, you don't need to do that because I called paul earlier to help me carry cleio up" said kay.

Paul ran to cleio's direction to grab and carry her, but paige stopped him.

"I'll carry cleio the way up, so you can go home already" paul said. "No bro, I can do it" said paige with the tone of her voice went higher. "Paul, just let paige do it" said kay because she feels like there's a heat building up in the situation. "Fine" paul said with clear annoyance in his voice.

When they got to the room, paige helped cleio to go to bed.  Kay thanked her for her help. Paige said goodbye and went down to her car to park it.

When she arrived at her dorm room, kk is there because they're roommates. Kk teased her about what happened earlier.

"Paige and cleio, sitting in a car. K-I-S-S-I-N-G" kk sung to tease paige. "If you don't stop, I won't treat you to chick-fil-a tomorrow" said paige."Okay fine, cleio" said kk and then laughed.

Paige just rolled her eyes and hoped that cleio won't remember what happened.

"I really hope that she won't remember the kiss or else, i'm cooked" paige said to herself. She later fell asleep because of overthinking.
