Chapter #10: The plan

(Paige's POV)

"Girl, cleio's clearly making you jealous, right?" azzi asked.

"I don't know, yes? I guess? I'm not sure" paige answered with a clear doubtfulness in her voice as she scratch her head.

"Uhm... I have a plan, a good one" said azzi followed by a small grin.

"Just spill it out, girl" kk said.

"Your plan better be a good one" nika added.

"Guys, stop. Don't make my situation with cleio worst" paige said as she rolled her eyes.

"Trust me, p. She'll regret making you jealous" azzi said as she chuckled after.

"We're gonna make cleio jealous!" azzi exclaimed.

"Girl, how?" Nika asked.

"We're gonna make her think that paige and I are into each other" azzi answered.

"I don't think that it's a good idea" paige said.

"In fact, it's gonna make our situation worst" paige added as she raised her voice.

"Trust me, she's gonna be begging to get back to you in a week" azzi said.

"Come on, p. Let's just see if this plans gonna work" kk pleaded.

"No" paige answered.

"Paige, come on. You want to get back with her, right?" nika said trying hard to convince paige.

"Fine, but if this plan fucks up, ya'll have to explain all of it to cleio" paige said.

"Okay, fine" nika said.

(Time skip: At the cafeteria)

(Third persons POV)

Paige, nika, kk, and azzi saw cleio coming towards the cafeteria with her friends; Kay and Paul.

Paige clenched her fist when she saw cleio holding paul's arm.

She turned her back to go to the other direction out of anger, but nika and kk stopped her. They reminded paige about their plan, so paige turned her back again.

Paige didn't really want to go there anymore since she's dying out of jealousy just seeing them together, worst is cleio is clinging into paul's arm.

But paige stood her ground and continue their plan.

Paige grabbed azzi's hand and went to cleio's direction to let her see that she's with azzi, but cleio didn't even look into paige's direction which made paige even more mad.

But then, cleio caught a glance of them...

Her eyes, her gorgeous chocolate eyes, it looks like it's hurting by the sight of them.

Cleio immediately turned back to talk to kay and acted as if nothing happened.

Paige know to herself that her plan worked, but she doesn't feel happy nor satisfied by the outcome.

Instead she felt sad, empty, and mad at herself. She's mad at herself for hurting the girl she loves the most.

She knows that what she's doing is wrong, paige badly wants to apologize for what she did.

So, paige went up to cleio...

Paige grabbed cleio's hand and apologized.

"Clei, I am deeply sorry. I regret every single thing I've done that hurt you" paige apologized as she teared up and holding cleio's hand.

"Huh? You're sorry for what?" cleio asked as she tries to let go of paige's grip to her hand.

"For everything, my cleio" paige answered.

"Please forgive me, cleio" paige added.

"You know what? We should stop talking to each other. Just act like I don't exist. We're better off without each other anyway. Goodbye, paige" cleio said as she hugs paige.

Paige didn't want to let go of cleio's hug, but kay pulled cleio to leave, so she let go of her.

After cleio left, paige burst into tears.

Azzi, nika, and kk comforted her.

"Shit, shit, shit. I fucking messed up, the girl I love the most doesn't want to do anything with me anymore" paige said as she sobs and her tears flowing out of her ocean blue eyes.

"It's fine, don't cry anymore, p. Just make it up to her" nika said as she hugs paige to comfort her.

"Don't cry anymore, just apologize to her again next time" kk said trying to comfort paige.

"I love her so much, I can't loose cleio" paige said, still crying.

"She'll eventually forgive you, p. Just give her some time and the space she needs" azzi said.
