After 7 years...

"Dyan!!! I said come here or I will throw all your toys!!! I swear!!!" Yn's voice echoed through the house, her frustration palpable.

Dyan scampered into the room, his eyes downcast as he stood before Yn, fidgeting with his hands behind his back.

"Didn't I just clean this room and you make it a mess!! Go and keep your toys properly or I will throw them out of the window," Yn's voice rose in frustration as she pointed to the scattered toys on the floor.

Mr. Lee, hearing the commotion, entered the room with a raised eyebrow. "What's going on here, Princess?" he asked, his tone gentle.

Yn turned to her father, her shoulders slumping in defeat. "Dad, I've cleaned this room a hundred times today, and every time Dyan comes in, it's like a tornado hit it."

Mr. Lee chuckled, crossing his arms. "Well, that's what kids do, sweetheart. They play and make messes."

Yn sighed, shooting Dyan a frustrated glance. "But it's exhausting, Dad. I just want to keep things tidy for once."

Mr. Lee knelt down beside Dyan, tousling his hair affectionately. "I know, Yn. But Dyan is just a little boy. Let him be."

Dyan looked up at his grandfather with wide eyes, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.

Yn couldn't help but soften at the sight of her brother's innocent expression. "Fine," she relented with a sigh. "But can you at least help me clean up this time, Dyan?"

Dyan nodded eagerly, his grin widening. "Yes, mom!"

Yn smiled, ruffling his hair affectionately. "Alright then, let's get to work".
.....................

"what the hell is this!! Mr. Desai!!" Yn's voice reverberated through the office as she slammed the files onto the floor, her frustration evident.

"I am sorry, ma'am," Mr. Desai stammered, his eyes darting nervously. "The current graph is going down as market conditions are so bad."

Yn's furrowed brow softened slightly as she glanced at her laptop screen, analyzing the data before her. "Arrange a meeting with the research department within 2 hours," she ordered, her tone firm.

Her secretary nodded in understanding, quickly jotting down the instruction before scurrying off to make the necessary arrangements.

Yn leaned back in her chair, her mind already racing with plans to address the challenges posed by the market downturn. Despite her frustration, she was determined to find solutions and steer her company through turbulent times.

Suddenly, Yn's phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. A sense of relief washed over her as she saw her father's name flashing on the screen.

"Hello appa," she answered, her voice softening with affection. "How is Dyan?"

"He's fine, princess," Mr. Lee replied warmly. "He's sleeping peacefully. And how's your work? Did you eat?"

Yn chuckled lightly. "I will," she assured him, though her stomach grumbled in protest.

"Don't starve yourself, princess. I won't like it," Mr. Lee insisted, his fatherly concern evident in his voice.

"I won't, appa," Yn promised, touched by his care. "And I want your help too. Can you come to the company and take Dyan with you?"

"Of course, I will," Mr. Lee replied without hesitation. "Now go and eat your lunch before I arrive."

"Yes, appa," Yn agreed gratefully, feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders knowing that her father would soon be there to support her.

In the boardroom, the air was thick with tension as Yn, accompanied by her father Mr. Lee, faced the research department head and a group of concerned shareholders. Mr. Gupta, the head of research, presented the grim market analysis, his voice strained with concern.

"As you can see from the data, our market position has weakened considerably," Mr. Gupta began, projecting a series of graphs onto the screen. "Sales are down, and our competitors are gaining ground."

Yn's brow furrowed as she studied the charts, her mind racing with the implications of the dismal figures. "This is troubling news indeed," she remarked, her voice steady despite the underlying sense of urgency. "We must act swiftly to reverse this trend."

Mr. Lee, known for his no-nonsense approach, leaned forward, his expression stern. "And what about our marketing efforts?" he interjected, his tone laced with frustration.

"It's clear that our current strategies are failing to resonate with consumers. We need to shake things up."

Yn nodded in agreement, her gaze shifting from Mr. Gupta to the assembled shareholders.

"Our marketing team needs to be held accountable for their lackluster performance," she declared, her voice carrying a note of authority. "Mistakes have been made, and they must be rectified."

A murmur of agreement rippled through the room as Yn continued to outline her plans for revitalizing the company's marketing efforts and bolstering product development. Despite the challenges ahead, there was a sense of determination among the group to confront the downturn head-on and emerge victorious.

Mr. Nair's words hung heavily in the air, his frank assessment of the situation resonating with the gathered group. Yn's frustration was evident as she contemplated the daunting road ahead, her mind weighed down by the possibility of bankruptcy.

Feeling the weight of his daughter's distress, Mr. Lee reached out and gently clasped her hand, offering a silent gesture of reassurance. Yn looked up at her father, finding solace in his unwavering support.

"I think we should accept the collaboration with Jeon Corporation,"

Mr. Nair suggested, breaking the somber silence that had settled over the room. His proposal was met with a chorus of solemn nods from the assembled group.

"As they've sent numerous requests, and Miss Lee has always rejected them,"

Mr. Nair continued, his tone respectful yet resolute. "We've never questioned your decisions, Miss Lee, but now the situation demands action. Collaboration may be our best chance to avoid bankruptcy."

Yn's gaze shifted from Mr. Nair to the faces of her team and the concerned shareholders.

She realized that the time for pride and stubbornness had passed. If accepting collaboration with Jeon Corporation was the best course of action to ensure the stability of their company, then it was a decision she would have to make, regardless of her previous reservations.

...............

Yn's pent-up frustration erupted in a burst of anger as she slammed the flower vase onto the floor of her cabin, shattering it into a hundred pieces. The sound of breaking porcelain reverberated through the room, mirroring the turmoil raging within her.

"I hate this!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with raw emotion. "Why do I have to face him again? Why now?"

Her heart pounded with a mixture of anger, resentment, and apprehension as she paced the confines of her office, her mind consumed by thoughts of him. The memories of their past encounters fueled the flames of her fury, threatening to engulf her sanity.

"He won't recognize the current me," she muttered to herself, her tone laced with bitterness. "So be it. I'll play along. But I'll never let him off so easily."

With determination flashing in her eyes, Yn clenched her fists, a silent vow echoing in the depths of her soul. No matter the challenges ahead, she was resolved to stand her ground and confront him on her own terms. The battle lines were drawn, and Yn was prepared to fight with every ounce of strength she possessed.
