Eunwoo's car screeched to a halt in front of the hospital. His heart pounded in his chest as he jumped out, sprinting towards the entrance. The cold night air did nothing to cool his panic. He burst through the hospital doors, making a beeline for the reception desk.

"Accident patients... Yuna and YN... where are they?" he gasped, barely able to catch his breath.

The receptionist quickly scanned her computer. "Room 302 and 303," she replied.

Eunwoo didn't wait for more information. He took off down the hallway, his shoes pounding against the linoleum floor. He dodged around a cart, his mind solely focused on reaching Room 302. Bursting through the door, he froze at the sight before him. Yuna lay motionless on the bed, her lifeless form a stark contrast to the chaos swirling in his mind. Tears welled up in his eyes.

A doctor stepped forward, his expression somber. "I'm sorry, sir. We couldn't save her. But your child survived."

Eunwoo's breath hitched as a nurse gently placed a newborn baby boy in his arms. The weight of the child grounded him momentarily, his tears of grief mingling with tears of relief.

"It's a boy," the nurse said softly.

Eunwoo's heart clenched painfully as he looked at his son. But before he could fully process his emotions, a desperate scream echoed from the neighboring room.

"Appa... where is my baby? Why can't I feel my baby? Where is my baby, Appa?" Y/N's voice was filled with panic and pain.

Eunwoo looked at the doctor, who explained solemnly, "Her baby died in the accident. She survived."

Wiping his tears, Eunwoo steeled himself and walked into Y/N's room. He saw her father, Mr. Lee, standing by her bedside, his face etched with shock and guilt. He knew the truth – that Yuna was dead and her baby had survived.

"yn, what happened? I was just holding your baby for a moment and you started shouting?" Eunwoo lied, trying to comfort her.

Mr. Lee's eyes met Eunwoo's, filled with sorrow and understanding. Eunwoo gave him a small, sad smile and nodded slightly. He knew the weight of the sacrifice he was making.

"Eunwoo, what happened? I... I thought I lost my baby..." Y/N's voice trembled as she reached out for the child.

Eunwoo handed her the baby boy, her tears soaking the blanket as she held him close. "I thought I lost my baby," she repeated, kissing the baby's face over and over.

"It's okay, Y/N," Eunwoo whispered, his heart breaking at the sight of her pain. "He's here. You're both safe now."

Y/N looked at Eunwoo, her eyes filled with worry. "Eunwoo, what about Yuna? How is she?"

Eunwoo felt a lump in his throat, his composure cracking. He stopped, unable to meet her gaze. Tears began to stream down his face as he choked out the words, "I lost her... I lost her."

The room fell into a heavy silence. Y/N's face crumpled, and she began to sob. Mr. Lee, standing beside her, felt his own tears welling up. The grief was overwhelming, a shared agony that left them all trembling.

"B-Baby?" Y/N asked, her voice barely a whisper, laced with dread.

Eunwoo's sobs intensified, and he clung to Mr. Lee, who wrapped his arms around him, their shared sorrow manifesting in silent tears. "I lost them both," Eunwoo cried, his voice breaking. The weight of his words hung in the air, heavy and suffocating.

Mr. Lee's legs almost gave way as he processed the devastating news. He had lost not just his beloved grandchild, but his precious daughter too. The room was filled with their collective heartbreak, a symphony of grief.
