Y/N's car screeched to a halt in front of the XXX Hostel. Without wasting a moment, she dashed inside, her heart pounding in her chest. The lobby was quiet, with only the sound of the receptionist typing on her computer breaking the silence.

Y/N approached the front desk, her voice trembling with urgency. "Jeon Jungkook? Is he staying here?"

The receptionist, a middle-aged woman with kind eyes, paused and began typing Jungkook's name into the computer. After a few moments, she looked up, her expression sympathetic. "I'm sorry, but that customer already checked out."

Y/N's face fell, the news hitting her like a ton of bricks. "Checked out? When?"

"Just this morning," the receptionist replied softly. "Is everything okay, miss?"

Y/N forced a smile, though her eyes betrayed her sadness. "Yes, everything's fine. Thank you."

She turned and walked out of the hostel, the weight of disappointment heavy on her shoulders. She reached her car and leaned against it, trying to steady her breathing.

In South Korea.

Jungkook arrived back in South Korea, his home country, feeling a heavy sense of emptiness. As he entered his family home, his face was devoid of emotion, his mind clouded with thoughts of everything that had transpired.

Mrs. Jeon, his mother, greeted him with a warm smile and immediately embraced him. "You've lost weight, Jungkook," she said with concern evident in her voice.

Jungkook didn't reply. Instead, he gently pulled away from the hug and headed upstairs, his footsteps heavy. Halfway up the staircase, he stopped and turned to his mother, who was watching him with a puzzled expression.

"I agree to  marry her "," he said flatly, his voice devoid of any enthusiasm or warmth.

Mrs. Jeon's eyes widened in surprise. "Are you sure, Jungkook?" she asked, her voice tinged with a mix of concern and excitement.

He nodded, then continued up to his room without another word. Mrs. Jeon watched him go, her initial confusion giving way to elation. She quickly rushed to find her husband to share the news.

---

In his room, Jungkook closed the door behind him and leaned against it, exhaling deeply. The weight of his decision pressed heavily on him. He had agreed to the arranged marriage his parents had proposed, a decision made not out of desire but out of a sense of duty and the need for stability.

He sat on his bed, staring at his phone, photo of his and yn together. He knew he had left things unresolved with her, but he also knew that his decision to marry was final. It was what his family wanted, what was expected of him. Yet, the thought of Y/N's face, her smile, and the sound of her voice haunted him.

---

Downstairs, Mrs. Jeon found her husband in the study. "Jungkook agreed to the marriage!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with happiness.

Mr. Jeon looked up from his work, a smile spreading across his face. "That's wonderful news! I'm so proud of him. This marriage will bring great honor to our family."

Mrs. Jeon nodded enthusiastically. "We should start the preparations immediately. There's so much to do."

As they began discussing the arrangements, Jungkook lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. The room around him felt like a prison, the walls closing in with each passing second. He knew he had made his choice, but the cost of that choice weighed heavily on his heart.
